Mission

For the past few weeks, Erza and i have been training a lot. She's still making me run in the forest and the hill with sack on my back. Erza said i improved a lot since the first time we had fought, though sometimes we would spar with each other. There was also a time when her group of friends are with us and just watching us train. The pink haired boy, Natsu once join me during my training, running on the hill as he also got a sack on his back. The other one, Gray also did the same as the two of them made a bet about who's going to reach the top of the hill.

It was fun watching them compete with each other not until they got into a fight and starts bickering. Erza had to interfere when they are about to use their magic, stopping them from destroying the forest. We had a good laugh at it when they go back and there's a bump on their forehead.

I was now sitting inside the guild, in front of the counter. Erza and the others goes on a job and she won't let me even come with them. Sigh. I'm bored. I look around the guild, there are some members sitting on the tables and just enjoying their day. It's quiet now since the troublemakers are doing some jo-.

“ We're back!”

The guild's door flew open with a loud thud as it hit the wall. Well... the troublemakers has arrived. The quiet atmosphere suddenly turned into chaos with chairs and tables flying everywhere. I let out a sigh before putting my head back at the counter not minding what's happening behind me. Someone takes a seat on the stool beside me but i didn't make any move. I'm not in the mood to do something.

“ Are you okay?” Erza's voice filled my ears from beside me.

“ Hm..” Sigh. I'm not really in the mood to the point of even saying something are tiring for me. She must have noticed it and i can hear some movements before a hand fell on my shoulder. I lazily turn my head to her and she was staring at me with her furrowed eyebrows.

“ What's wrong? You're not in your usual self” she said. I let out a sigh before turning away from her.

I heard some footsteps before it stops near me.

“ What's wrong with her?” i heard someone asked, it was Lucy.

“ I don't know. She won't tell me” Erza told the girl and another sigh escaped from me. I didn't notice the pout that appeared on my face while I'm busy staring at Mira's work. She was wiping some of the glasses before putting it back on their right places. The white haired mage are so kind, even when the first night that we've crossed paths on the dorm. She would always smile at me and will try to make a conversation. She's too soft and kindhearted, though Erza once told me what her magic is when i asked her about it. I still can't believe that her magic is the opposite of her. Her personality does not match her power, though there is a saying that those people with a kind hearts, are the one that became more evil and dangerous than the demons when they got angered.

“ How about we go on a job?” that breaks me out from my thoughts as my ears perked up when i heard it. My head turned to the side and found Lucy looking at my way.

“ A job?” my eyes sparkles at the thought of finally joining them, my first ever mission if ever Erza would let me.

Lucy turn to look at Erza and my eyes fell on the girl too, she was now looking at me and i tried my best to give her my puppy eyes.

“ I don't think so...” she said and my shoulders slumped hearing it.

“ Oh come on Erza.. I'm not a child anymore. I can take care of myself and besides what's the point of my training if i wouldn't even use it?” i said trying to get her approval of letting me join them.

“ She's right, Erza. Wouldn't it be so bad to let her join us? She can use this as part of her training too” Lucy told her before giving me a wink. I can see Erza thinking about it before her eyes found my own and we held a staring contest. I didn't back down from it, and it was her who gives up first and look away before letting out a sigh.
