Simon

I breathe heavily as my eyes are closed tightly waiting for the attack to hit me, my heart beats loudly that i can hear it pounding in my ears. The memories from my childhood came back as it played like some kind of tape reliving everything, the time when my mother had died.. those times where I've always walk back and forth in Rosemary Village and sell the carved things that i made, everything that had happened before It's all coming back until it came to where I've found Kagura and Simon, letting me stay with them and treat me like no other. A small smile appeared on my face as some tears rolled down on my cheeks, i can still hear Erza calling for my name but i didn't open my eyes to look at her and just stood there not moving away. Though i waited for a bit more but nothing happens as the air around me seems had calmed down, i opened my eyes quite confused and looks in front of me to look on what happen but my eyes widen in full shocked as my heart skip a beat.

No... Not him..

“ SIMON!!” i heard Erza's screams but my body won't move as my eyes are still staring ahead of me on where Simon just stood right in front of me with his body formed in a cross. I can't move my body as i watched his body fell on the floor, No.. Erza was right beside him in a matter of seconds as my body froze and won't respond to my mind.

“ Simon...” Erza put his head on her lap. There's some tears rolling down her cheeks and it was then that my feet had finally move from where i was standing. My feet feel so heavy as my eyes never left Simon's body on Erza's lap. His body are full of bruises from the attack and there is some blood on the corner of his mouth.

My knees fell on the ground beside him and i take his large hands upon my own that is shaking. His eyes tried to search for something until it landed on my figure. He tried to smile but i can tell that he was struggling from the pain.

“ Why... why did you do it Simon?.. you idiot..” my voice trembled as i spoke to him. There's a lump in my throat that makes it hard to speak. The corner of his mouth tugged up a bit as he tried to smile but wince in pain.

“ Y... you.. are..y. family...” he tried to speak while breathing hard like he was lacking some air on his lungs. I put my other hand at his shoulder stopping him from saying anything and feeling more pain. The tears continue to fall from my eyes as i stared at his figure.

He was talking to Erza before his gaze fell on me again.

“ F..fi..nd.. h..er...” he said before his eyes began to close slowly and the hand that is on my own went limp. My heart jumped when it happened.

“ Simon...” I can hear Erza calling for him, trying to wake him up but my eyes are completely frozen at his face, at the look on his face, he looks like he's in peace. Like he was waiting for it all along. My eyes fell on the necklace that he is still wearing until now. I took it from his neck and pull it closer to my chest. I promise i will find her no matter what...  The memories of us played inside my mind. All of it, the memories from when we are a child with Kagura still with us. But now, it's just me. With Kagura out there.

I stumbled a little when the tower shake a little, Jellal and the pink haired boy are fighting and it seems like he was winning against Jellal. I stared at him, at his face that has a wide grin. How can he do it? We were a family, brothers and sisters and yet, he plans to kill us and he succeeds with Simon. My hands tightened in a fist as anger build up inside me. Jellal got pushed back near me and i saw the sword lying there.

I get on my feet before taking the sword and made a strike on his back. Jellal grunts in pain when my sword slashed him on the back. My eyes stared at the blood on my sword that i didn't notice him raising his hand in my direction and it was too late for me to do anything as he blasted me with his magic, sending me back from the wall.
