As the weeks come by, the family starts to build something that would improve each life within them, even with their gifts, but still they never forget Mirabel, by often visiting her grave. The only ones who can visit more than often were Abuela Alma, Julieta, Agustin and Isabella.
One day, the Madrigal matriarch once more visited Mirabel's grave and told her just about the same. The things that they do normally but now they won't have now that she's gone.
"Mirabel, we were just normal in our lives now within a couple of weeks, even with our gifts being there with us, but the familia is not the same without you, mija.," she said.
While departing from the grave and approching back to the Casita, Abuela felt cold. She was very cold because of the wind. Good thing Camilo and Luisa came to her aid.
"Are you ok, Abuela?," Camilo asked the candle holder. "Yes, mijo, I'm ok. I just felt cold by the wind.," Abuela answered.
Although both Camilo and Luisa asked the older Madrigal for help, the matriarch still declined and thought making sure to the Casita in time, and she does without help.
While in heaven, Mirabel is still wearing the same dress before her death, and even wore the same emerald glasses that the candle have replicated with. But even thought she is with her Abeulo Pedro, she is deeply missing her own family.
"I know you miss our own familia, Mirabel.," Abuelo said. "I do too miss them, especially Alma."
"I would know how they deeply miss us.," Mirabel said. "I shouldn't known about that."
"Don't say that."
Mirabel looked at her Abuelo.
"We do have a family that we've left. But that doesn't mean that you miss them, they have to cherish the memories that they have with you.," Abuelo adviced.
Mirabel remembered what her family has been doing. With their gifts, they've been living thier lives out, but they still miss the girl that departed weeks ago. The same girl that sacrificed her life for the miracle, and her family.
Mirabel saw herself being there in her final moments in her life, and realized how hard it was to see her family mourning for her death. She also realized who she was for her family.
"You know, abuelo, I should visit them one-by-one.," Mirabel said. "You said they miss me, so I'm going to tell them that I miss them as well.," she added.
"You're on your own decision, so I'll support you.," Abuelo said, until he us wrapped by an embrace.
"Gracias, abuelo.," Mirabel said.
"De nada, mi nieta.," Abuelo responded.
Back in Encanto, upon arrival, Julieta suddenly distanced and went back to her room. Abuela have offically noticed what her daugther was doing for weeks, so she approched Agustin.
"Agustin, why is my daugther was so distant to me this whole time?," Abuela asked.
"Oh, Julieta? Well, ever since Mirabel's death and when you've tried to talked to her and failed, she's been distant to you.," Agustin said.
"Oh, I see that.," Abuela responded.
"Well, I think about what you've said about Mirabel while the Casita was collapsing. Truth is, she always remembered it and always haunted her everytime.," Agustin added.
"I know."
