The Heartbreaking Miracle (Extended Version)

Prolouge: Something in the Air

Mirabel and Isabella were happily make their bond together as sisters.

"You're a bad influence.," Isa said and laughed. Mirabel also laughed after she throw a flower on her but that laugher truned into sadness, at least on Isa's point of view.

"Mira, listen. I'm sorry. For everything.," Isa sadly said. Mirabel was sadden to hear her sister apologizing, not at least from what she said in front of her face earlier.

"Everything was perfect. Abuela was happy. The family was happy."

"You wanted to be a better sister? Apologize for ruining my life!"

"Go on, apologize!"

"I was so worried about how to be señorita perfecta, that I kind of forgot how to be a good big sister.," she sadly added.

Mirabel's face turned into a sad smile.

"I understand if you don't want to-"

Before Isa would continue what she is about to say, Mirabel gave her a tight hug.

"I'm sorry too, Isa.," Mirabel said. "I forgave you."

Isa's tears started to form in her eyes, and the apology was sealed into a hug of her own. But that hugging was interrupted when a lady angrily shouted her name.

"Mirabel!!"

It was Abuela Alma.

"What are you doing??!! What is going on??!!"

Mirabel and Isa suddenly broke away from their hug. Abuela, on the other hand, believed that Mirabel had something done wrong to her sister, but it wasn't wrong. Isa changed her attitude towards her younger sister because of her kindness.

"Abuela, it's okay.," Mirabel calmly said. "Everything's- We're gonna save the miracle. The magic-"

"What are you talking about? Look at our home. Look at your sister.," Abuela seriously said.

"Please, just- Isabella wasn't happy and she-"

But Abuela cutted her explanation. Again, just like in the past, Abuela didn't believed her because she believed that she was the reason why Isa isn't happy. The reason for that is Mirabel ruined what should have been the best day of her sister's life.

"Of course she isn't happy. You ruined her proposal."

"No! No! That's not how you think, abuela. She needed me to ruin her proposal.," Mirabel said. "And we did all of this, and the candle burn brighter...," she added, pointing out her big decoration for the Casita with Isa.

Abuela didn't believe her, and she tried Mirabel to stop talking because she knows it could hurt her family even more. But it doesn't matter, Mirabel is still explaining.

"...and the cracks. That's why I'm in the vision, I'm saving the miracle.," she added, saying Bruno's prophecy about her and the Casita. But Abuela had enough of Mirabel's words.

"You have to stop, Mirabel!," Abuela shouted her, disappointing Mirabel and the Casita have into eerie silence.

Mirabel was in shocked as she was shouted by her grandmother, like she never been shouted by Abuela, who again, blames her for the wrong doings for the family once more.

"The cracks started with you! Bruno left because of you! Luisa is losing her powers, Isabella's out of control because of you!," Abuela shouted towards Mirabel's face.

On the other hand, Luisa and Isa got sad into the side because despite Mirabel being kind to them, she can't be safe from Abuela's blamings towards her. They know that they could stand for her sister, same with a worried Juleta and Agustin, their parents with Mirabel, but they might thinked that they could also blamed for the wrong doings in the family, just like what Mirabel had suffered after what Abuela have said.

"I don't know why you didn't given a gift, but it is not an excuse for you to hurt this family!"
