Chapter 3: Mirabel's Death (Part 2)

Camilo and Antonio, in the other hand, also cried like their parents. The former, after remembering what Mirabel said, realized about what happened today. He will not see her favorite cousin even again after this, and it hit him hard. He even remembered what they talked about compassion towards the people in Encanto

"Hey, Mirabel, I need to ask you one thing."

"Sure!"

"What is it that question, cousin?"

"I know Abuela hated you because you didn't have a gift. But why are you so kind to me, and the others, especially Tonio?"

"Well, kindness is really one of my main gifts. I don't really care about having a gift after what I've done, at least it's from the heart."

"Gracias, Mirabel."

"I just can't- I just really can't- I couldn't be happy without you. Niether does Tonio, Isa or any of us.," Camilo cryingly said to himself.

"I hope I'll you again in the afterlife and have fun."

Meanwhile, Antonio remembers what Mirabel's advice to him about losing a loved one.

"What if you die and I'm still here?"

"Well then, you'll be all grown up, and you won't need me."

"I think I'll always need you.," Antonio said to himself, then he started crying quietly while hugging to his brother.

Meanwhile, Dolores was telling herself, before the candle burned out, about what happened to Mirabel.

"I heard something bad.," Dolores told herself during the collapse, where Mirabel got the candle and got collapsed with the Casita, then she heard Mirabel breathing, and her heart beating slowly until she officially collapsed.

She then searched for Abuela Alma after the collapse. After some searching, she found the candle holder.

"Abuela, are you ok?," Dolores approched Abuela.

"I'm ok, mija. Where are the others?," Abuela said and asked Dolores.

"I can't answer that question right now, Abuela. I just need to hear from them.," Dolores calmly answered.

Suddenly, she heard something from the other side of the destroyed Casita. She didn't heard some minor sounds, she heard someone screaming.

Dolores was shocked. Her jaw dropped. She didn't have a reaction to those shouting from her tío, tía and one of her cousins

"What did you hear, mija?," Abuela asked. "Did you heard something good?," she added another question.

"I-I-I."

"What Dolores?," Abuela asked her again.

"I think there is something bad happening there. And it might be related to Mirabel.," Dolores answered.

"What related to Mirabel?," Abuela asked Dolores again.

"I think there's something bad happened to her.," Dolores answered, then she and Abuela run.

While in the other side, Isabella was still floral. Her black with floral details dress is still perfect even after the Casita collapsed, then she approched Luisa. It felt like it was a bad felling as she saw her big sister crying.

"I'm so sorry, please forgive me. I never ment to make you cry. Niether does tía, tío and our cousins," Isa said.

But Luisa was still crying, then she felt like it's their fault that the Casita collapsed and Mirabel died.

"It's not like that, sis.," Luisa sobbingly said.

"What's not like that? We know we didn't protect our sister and that's was the reason why the Casita collapsed.," Isa explained.It's not that.," Luisa said. "Look at what we've done!," she added. Then she pointed Mirabel and their parents and continues crying.

As she saw what her big sister was pointing at, Isa was shocked. Her jaw dropped, then she starts to feel about what happened, then, she started crying and shouting so loud, like she never shouted that loud before.

After that, she run to her little sister's cold body beside her parents. She can believed how it would happen after the collapse.

But Luisa was still crying.

"It's not that.," Luisa said. "Look at what we've done!,"she added. Then she pointed Mirabel and their parents and continues crying.

As she saw what her big sister was pointing at, Isa was shocked. Her jaw dropped, then she starts to feel about what happened, then she started crying and shouting so loud, like she never shouted that loud before.

After that, she run to her little sister's cold body beside her parents. She can believed how it would happen after the collapse.

"We've just get along so late in life.," Isa sobbingly said. "I'm so sorry about what I've done and what I've said bad to you, sis."

She can't believe that the person that she cares less has died before her, and that person was her sister. She felt bad for her.

"It's ok to cry, hija, it's ok to cry."
