It was a day like any other. The sun was shining so intensely people were sweating all over, even though they should be used to Thailand's hot weather. The traffic jam was terrible, and honking cars could be heard a mile away. No one could foresee the tragedy dashing to them. When the dark clouds appeared in the clear sky, no one paid attention to them. The awful ripping sound echoed through the whole city when the ground started to shake, and people only shrugged. Earthquakes weren't uncommon here. It didn't even last that long. The clouds were gone again, and people started to mind their business.
The first set of terrified screams tore the busy streets approximately thirty minutes after the earthquake. The chaos spread through the city as the giant flying creatures appeared out of nowhere, diving into the streets and ripping human bodies apart. The blood soaked the asphalt roads and pained the building walls red.
The government announced the giant abyss appeared on the west side of Bangkok. The military tropes couldn't get close enough because the creatures attacked them right away. They were like apparitions from the horror movie, with wings covered with grey, almost transparent skin, long bent sharp claws at the end of their arms, and frightening fangs sticking out of the long muzzles. Their eyes were small and black, but they saw everything.
Some said they came from hell to judge humankind's sins. That's why the abyss received the name "Hell Hole".
And the lives of millions across the whole world changed that day.
