If it wasn't for Gumpa, White was sure Sean would end up dead or severely hurt. The time flew by, and no one realized it was time to eat. The whole rescuing messed up White's sense of time. The gang sit around the table with full plates of stir-fried nuddles and vegetable. White didn't though he was this hungry until the nicely smelling dish was placed in front of him. He thanked Gumpa and gobbled up his share. The different flavours exploded in his mouth, and a quiet moan escaped his lips.

"Is it that good?" Gumpa asked, amused by his reaction. White couldn't blame him, though.

"Good." White nodded, continuing to stuff his mouth.

"Take mine too." Black pushed his half-eaten plate towards him.

"I am full." He added. White blinked at him, assessing how much his brother lied.

"You eat more." Black didn't give him a chance to argue.

"Thank you. P'" White mumbled. The collective gasp echoed around the table, but White ignored it.

"Since White is staying with us, let's inform him about our cause." Gumpa started.

"How much do you know about us?" The older one asked, waiting for an answer. White glanced at him, his cheeks puffed with the portion of food he forced in.

"Not much," Black answered instead of him.

"I told him what we were doing and what we are doing now." Black shrugged.

"No details." He added.

"As Black already told you, we are trying to find a way to fight the creatures. It's not easy to gather information about them because the government is silent, and people are scared. The trial and error method didn't take us far." Gumpa explained. White swallowed the bite and frowned.

"Trial and error?"

"When we have an idea, we try it on the creatures." Gram specified. White froze. His eyes went wide.

"Please, tell me you are joking." He blinked at his brother, who just looked away, avoiding eye contact. White didn't know if he was mad or frightened. What they were doing was beyond dangerous. His hands started to tremble. The thought Black, the other half of his soul, could have been dead, and he wouldn't even know, scared him. It didn't take Black a second to wrap him in his arms and put the almost empty plate on the table. He gently wiped the sauce stain in the corner of his mouth and pulled him closer to his chest.

"There is no other way." Sean interrupted their brotherly moment, receiving a glare from Black.

"There is always another way," White argued, peeking at the taller.

"And that is? The world is wrecked, the government is silent, and the information's limited."

White was quiet for a moment, processing Sean's agitated, angry voice.

"You observe, gather facts yourself, ask around, and evaluate. Then make a plan." White answered.

"We have no time for this." Sean shot back.

"It's better than getting yourself killed unnecessarily." White glared back.

"Enough." Gumpa stopped the fight.

"If I give you what we found out until now, will you be able to come up with something?" He directed the question at him. White tilted his head, thinking. He wasn't sure, but there was nothing wrong with trying.

"I can try." He nodded. Black's grip on him tightened, and White knew he wasn't exactly happy with him being involved.
