Black didn't know how long they were lying on the mattress, holding each other. White was fast asleep in his arms, and Black wasn't even surprised. The emotional rollercoaster must have exhausted him. Yawning a few times, he fights the desire to close his eyes. This wasn't time to be sleeping. They had a solid chance to find a way to fight against the hell creatures, but White's happiness was his priority. He tightened his grip on his brother's waist, securing him against his chest and inhaling his sweet vanilla scent. Approaching footsteps pulled his attention away from his sleeping twin. Looking up, he spotted Gram standing awkwardly not far from them. He seemed to think of a way to talk to him and didn't disturb White's nap. Black chuckle, causing his chest to shake. Gram could be cute.

White groaned, startling him.

"You awake?" Black asked, watching his baby brother blink at him adorably from behind his glasses.

"Hmm." He hummed, making Black smile even more.

"We should go back. It looks like Gram came to pick us up." He pointed at the other person in the room. White's head snapped to govern direction. His eyes widened in obvious embarrassment.

"Gumpa want us to gather."

"We're coming." Black nodded, pushing White away and helping him stand up. Gram waited, and they walked back to the main hall. Yok, Gumpa and Sean were already sitting at their usual spots, though Sean made sure he had enough space beside him. Black growled, knowing precisely for who he made the room. White seemed to know too, and before he could stop him, his baby brother plopped next to the tall asshole. Black sighed deeply before sitting down, checking the distance between White and Sean. He will have to talk about this with White.

"I'm happy you talked it out." Gumpa smiled, starting the conversation. Black rolled his eyes at the statement, receiving a gentle nudge in the ribs from his twin.

"I called a few of my contacts and managed to obtain some lights. The truck driver will bring them here in two hours or so. In the meantime, we had to create a plan for the experiment." He continued. No one was surprised by Gumpa's capability, yet his so-called contact was still an enigma to all of them. Black wanted to see them one day.

"I will check the weather." Yok proposed, pulling out his phone immediately. He was taping on it.

"No good, clear sky for two days." He announced.

"Then we have to settle with the evening," Gumpa concluded.

"Any suggestions for a place?"He asked, observing the gang.

"What about the place we hide with White?" Gram suggested.

"Isn't it too far?" White blinked curiously.

"It's better to try somewhere far away from the garage. We don't want to attract attention to the garage." Sean explained, and Black wanted to punch him again.

"Black?" Gumpa asked his opinion.

"Agree with Gram the place is safe. We can use it." Black nodded.

"We have to prepare a portable generator. Black, Sean, check it before the truck arrives." Gump commanded.

"Gram, Yok, look at the bikes." He instructed the other two. Black could feel White wriggle in anticipation.

"White, can you look into this?" Gumpa handed him a bunch of papers, and White took them with a huge smile. Black tried to peek, but White pushed him away.

"Go do your work." He pouted. Black huffed annoyingly, but inside he was pleased his brother was happy.
