All the morning felt the same to White. Waking up, open the curtains to check the weather. Take a quick shower, and dress in suitable attire. Go down and have breakfast with father. He would talk about the political situation and how the timing was perfect for him and White to get involved. White hated every single word coming out of the old man's mouth.
"Government is in chaos. They don't have an idea how to deal with the situation." His father said. White hummed in response, feeding himself a piece of bacon.
"People are getting nervous. They will start protesting sooner or later. It's the perfect time for us to step in." He continued speaking, and honestly, White wasn't even surprised. His father was a hyena, seeking only his benefit.
"I arranged an appointment with my friend in the ministry of defence for you."
"What?" White choked on the piece of meat he was munching on.
"I told you it's the perfect opportunity for us." His father repeated.
"But I don't know anything about military, police and fitting. You can't just send me there!" White exclaimed, standing up abruptly from the chair.
"Calm down. Do you think anyone up there knows more than you? They are all here just for the money. You are smarter than them, White." Pothiyakorn dismissed the sudden outburst.
"That's crazy, father. I don't want to be part of it." White refused.
"Stop acting out, White. You will do what I say, or do you not want to see your brother again?" White was speechless. He blinked at his father. He didn't recognise the man anymore.
"Are you threatening me? Your son? Are you even a human?" White breathes out in disbelief.
"If that's what I have to do to make you behave." The man shrugged, making White gasp.
"It's time for you to go. And let me remind you, I will know how you performed before you get home." His father stood up, leading him out of the house. The car was already waiting for him, with the driver and bodyguard.
"There's no hope for you." He shook his head with disdain as he climbed inside the vehicle.
