Chaeyoung's POV

It was Wednesday night and Chaeyoung was beat. She wasn't used to socializing as much as she did today, and it wore her out. Flipping through Netflix, she decided to choose an interesting Japanese show called "Alice In Borderland".

About three episodes later, Chaeyoung was fully immersed, not even paying attention to what the time was. The story was just so good, she wished someone was with her right now so she could talk about everything she likes.

Chaeyoung enjoyed watching TV shows because they made her feel detached from society. She got to escape as cheesy as that sounded, and she enjoyed every second of it. Chaeyoung could throw it down with any genre too, as long as she was enjoying it after the first episode.

This show she was watching though, it was amazing to her. She knew she would have to rewatch it like five more times to catch every single detail. Chaeyoung was a 'pause the show and talk about what just happened' type of person and she knew that annoyed people sometimes.

Chaeyoung was insecure about watching things with others if they didn't like that. She knew most people didn't, so she never really invited anyone over to watch things with her. She often joked that 'Netflix and chill' was nowhere near being accomplished in her near future.

Ding

A notification broke Chaeyoung's trance from the show and she paused it. It was already 7:30pm and Chaeyoung hadn't even ate supper yet or did her nightly routine. She made a mental note to get on that pronto and save the rest of the series to binge another day.

Jennifer: Goodnight beautiful. Sorry I didn't stop in today, I have a really heavy case load right now. Let's meet up tomorrow night though if you'd like?

Chaeyoung smiled at her phone and bit her bottom lip. She was relieved the girl wasn't avoiding her like she dreaded, and she just had a lot going on at work. It would've hurt Chaeyoung to know she possibly scared the girl away, and they were just getting to know one another.

Especially after their first date together. Chaeyoung kept replaying the kiss in her head, she couldn't believe the shorter girl had pulled her in. She hoped for more.

Roseanne: Don't worry about it, I hope things get easier on you. I missed you today. And that sounds great, what would you like to do?

Chaeyoung waited for the girls response before she started on supper.

Jennifer: We can go watch the stars at the Hollywood sign if you'd like?

Roseanne: Ooo, sounds very romantic ;)

Jennifer: So that's a yes?

Roseanne: Of course.

Jennifer: Great, i'll see you tomorrow night then. How does 9pm sound? I can pick you up, if you want.

Roseanne: Sounds like a plan.

Jennifer: Give me the addy bb.

Roseanne: 33 W Palm Lane. I live in an apartment building, I can meet you outside.

Jennifer: I'll see you tomorrow then ❤️

Roseanne: I'll see you <3

After making the plan for a second date, Chaeyoung couldn't be happier. Dancing to her kitchen Chaeyoung threw a TV dinner in the microwave.

I got a dateeee, she's gonna kissss me, she thinks I'm beautifullll, we're gonna make outttt. Chaeyoung sung a little song as the food was cooking.
