Chaeyoung's POV

Chaeyoung was inwardly groaning at having to go back to work. November came around so soon and she was hating the colder weather. Sure, 60's weren't that cold but in the early mornings when she was making her way to work, it was cold. More like 30-40's and she was mentally dreading the walk there.

After getting ready she decided to just get the trek over with and take off. Shivering the whole way she made it into the coffee shop. Then it dawned on her that she would have to face Ryujin today. She wasn't very good at ignoring people was she.

She punched in, got her apron on, and immediately busied herself with the normal Monday duties. Like clockwork, Onda came in, then right behind her trudged in Ryujin since she had to come in on time. Chaeyoung pretended like she didn't see them come in and ran to the restroom quickly to act like she was cleaning it.

After she was satisfied she had hid long enough she exited the door. To her surprise the timing was super off and Ryujin was sweeping the exact floor Chaeyoung was about to step on.

"Watch out, don't step on my pile punk." Ryujin warned glaring at Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung wasn't sure if she was just joking or actually trying to be threatening.

"And if I did?" Chaeyoung pushed as she always does.

"You'd just have to see." Ryujin said monotone. Chaeyoung wasn't willing to find out what that meant so she looked carefully on the ground not to step on it. She then felt herself being pulled back by her shirt, Ryujin had a hold on it. Chaeyoung gasped a bit not expecting the sudden movement.

"Why are you ignoring me?" Ryujin asked in a hushed tone.

"Let go jerk." Chaeyoung shrugged the hold off her shirt and spruced up her look. "I was trying to figure out how to let you down easy." She replied honest.

"Well you're in luck, you don't have to. I liked the kiss and all but I think we're better off just friends, with no benefits. That's why I was trying to get ahold of you but you kept ignoring me." Ryujin explained. Chaeyoung took a deep sigh of relief.

"Oh good. I literally thought the same exact thing." Chaeyoung let out.

"Sure you did. You know you enjoyed it." Ryujin winked and smirked at the girl.

No one could out-smirk Chaeyoung so she decided to play back just this once.

"Not as much as you did."

"Not true!" Ryujin defended. Just as they had started the friendly banter Taeyong walked up to them and hurried them up as the shop was opening soon. Both of them went their own ways and worked on getting the shop ready for open.

After opening the work day went along as usual. Chaeyoung now took her lunch break with both Onda and Ryujin and it dawned on her, Onda shouldn't even be here right now. She had Mondays off.

"Why are you here Onda?" Chaeyoung asked the barista.

"Jeez Chaeyoung, way to make a girl feel welcomed. Am I impending on your lunch date?" Onda teased acting hurt.

"You know what I mean. Why are you here, on a Monday?" Chaeyoung re worded her question.

"Mondays are awful arent they?" Onda said and everyone agreed. "I'm here because Jake picked up a shift today so I didn't want to be bored."

The trio continued making small talk until lunch break was over. They all returned to their posts and resumed work as normal. Chaeyoung then noticed a familiar black haired girl in line with a camera dangling from her neck. She practically smiled ear to ear and waved.
