Lisa's POV

"Jisoo this is lame." Lisa complained for the millionth time that evening. They still hadn't agreed on what to do for their costume and the party was starting in two hours.

"You're lame!" Jisoo scolded her younger best friend throwing down a crop top.

"Okay we have two options at this point... cop and a prisoner, or two prisoners." Slim pickings for sure. The two best friends always did things last minute and ended up paying for it in the end.

"It's just a mini Halloween get together, not like an all out party or nothing. We should be silly and do the prisoners." Jisoo explained to the frustrated girl.

"I don't want to look dumb Jisoo." Lisa didn't know what the other four attendees would be sporting so she wanted to look good.

"This will work just fine, quit griping." Jisoo was annoyed with Lisa already and the night hadn't even begun.

Lisa grabbed the pair of orange pants, a white crop top, and some white converses. They decided to go with the 'Holes' movie theme.

"Can you do my hair please? Let's braid the same." Lisa suggested after changing.

"Yeah just one sec, I'm gonna change first." Jisoo's costume was similar, only difference was she was going to just wear a black sports bra and some black converse.

After Jisoo was done she did Lisa's hair and they made small talk about the get together.

"I'm excited to see Chaeyoung's date." Jisoo told Lisa as she was braiding one side of Lisa's locks.

"Yeah, from what Chaeyoung has told me she seems fun." Lisa said back to Jisoo. If Lisa was being honest she could care less who went with Chaeyoung. Just as long as it wasn't Jennie and as long as it wasn't someone like Jennie.

"Mhm. Are you sure you'll be okay with this friends thing you're going for with her?" Jisoo pressed.

"Yes Jisoo, she's actually really cool once you get to talking to her. I can picture being friends with her and not just thinking of Jennie when I see her." Lisa wanted Jisoo to stop pressing the issue as it made Lisa insecure. She wasn't sure if it was the right decision but her gut was telling her it was. She wanted to explore a friendship with Chaeyoung. Besides, having more friends wouldn't hurt her.

"Good then. Be sure to surround yourself with positive energy." Jisoo have more advice to Lisa.

"I am." Lisa stated.

After their hair was done Jisoo was panicking about the costumes looking unfinished. She then emptied two gallon milk jugs and strung a string through them.

"Oh you've got to be kidding me." Lisa blurred out baffled.

"You wish I was kidding." Jisoo smirked and draped one of the jugs over Lisa's shoulder. "Hmm, needs something else." Jisoo stood with a hand on her hip and her pointer finger to her lip tapping it in thought. "Got it!"

Jisoo ran and grabbed a Sharpie marker. She then wrote 'Jailbird' down the side of Lisa's jug.

"Jisoo! Enough! What's yours gonna say then?" Lisa asked scanning over her costume.

Her older best friend then wrote 'Yardbird' across her jug and threw it over her shoulder grinning.

"We can't both be birds Jisoo." Lisa deadpanned.

"Sure we can." Jisoo pouted her lips and crinkled her eyebrows. "Shit I almost forgot!" Jisoo then ran to her room and back out with a mini shovel. "For you my dear bestie."
