Arriving at the resort he booked, Gee takes in the scenery provided by Paradise Island, Bahamas. He promised Magenta a trip after the verdict to destress, but he needs it just as much.
After this wild rollercoaster year of heartbreak, disappointments, and life-shattering setbacks, being in the humid island air is what they need. Going to the beach, being in ocean water, and waking up in a cloud-like hotel bed is everything they need to just breathe again.
Gee already told himself he won't worry himself at all on this trip about his brother's predicament. After Seven turned himself in for killing Destin, he's been out on bond while his lawyers workout a reasonable plea deal with prosecutors for him to take.
Seven's finally manning up and taking responsibility for his actions. Gee doesn't want to see his sibling behind bars, but it's the only option to keep everyone safe from Destin's family.
Gee can admit he's still upset how they went about it. Magenta, Seven, or her brothers didn't have to go behind his back. It's his brother and he should've been in the loop for the decision. Especially when his brother turned himself in and facing prison time.
Entering the massive room of the private bungalow, Gee walks around taking a small tour. For the next few days the overwater hammock, outdoor shower, bathtub big enough for two, a jump-into-the-ocean sun deck, glass-bottom floor, and private butler service will be nothing short of needed luxury.
