Afterdark team: Can you tell us a bit about your life outside of Wattpad?

Siberiantiggy: I'm afraid I'm nowhere near as interesting as my stories. When I'm not writing and replying to comments on wp, I'm usually in my greenhouse taking care of my plants, or gardening; anything to de-stress from the daily grind. I spend as much of my time outside as possible until it gets cold, then I hibernate... I make a bad Canadian in that respect lol.

Afterdark team: Lmao! So do you have any specific plant which you like the most in your greenhouse?

Siberiantiggy: It's kind of odd, but I grow carnivorous plants, like my own little shop of horrors. It's hard to beet a classic Venus fly trap, though I love the north American pitcher plants too.

Afterdark team: That is a little odd indeed but we love it! We really admire how you have infused dark romance with paranormal. How did you get that idea?

Siberiantiggy: I started out as an avid reader, always drawn to paranormal romance and dark romance. After a while there were story elements that I wished I could find in the same story, so decided to give it a shot and write the type of story I wanted to read with my own take on it.

Afterdark team: So can you tell us about your works?

Siberiantiggy: I basically write in 2 different universes. I have a 5 book complete paranormal romance series, the Forgotten Wolf series, and a stand alone fun book(wicked wiles) that I wrote using reader favourite characters. And I have a two book BDSM series, His Broken submissive. Profession restraint also takes place in this world.

My paranormal romance feature strong women and primal males, lots of action and steam with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. It's a great series for those new to werewolves, needing no prior experience with the genre to enjoy.

His Broken Submissive is a steamy story following Jonathan and Izzy as they come together and explore the lifestyle.

Over all my writing tends to feature flawed characters, with lots of room to grow, and I'm a sucker for happily ever after. But I'm know for making my characters earn them.

Afterdark team: Haha! Earned happy endings, we like that! We like when it's hard here (sorry for the bad pun)

Speaking of flaws and growing, what is one thing you've learned with your characters and writing their stories?

Siberiantiggy: The biggest thing I've learned about flaws and growth from my characters is that it's okay to fall down, to have a set back, cry it out, but then you get back up and try again. No two characters have the same path to success/healing and it sure isn't a straight line. Surrounding yourself with good people that build you up instead of tear you down makes all the difference. I've written a lot of side characters that I wish I had in my life, and think everyone should have.

Also, never apologize for puns, they are the best!

Afterdark team: We won't then. LOL. We have a question from one of your very admirable readers,Vielle_ Which is your favourite male lead from any of your books, and why?

Siberiantiggy: Gah! How dare you make me choose! Can an author really have a favourite? Lol. Really it depends on my mood, because one like Jonathan from hbs is understanding and comforting in addition to kinky, what's not to like right? But then there's Chris from fw... he may have that alphahole temper, but he's also got that possessive, let me take care of you, side. The lets stay in bed all day and forget about the world kind of care, and he'll help you forget ;) Chris has more flaws so more growth which I always love in a character.

Afterdark team: Muhahaha! We're all evil here - so we're going to ask you to choose again! Speaking about your characters, if you could meet one in real life, who would it be and where would you take them for sight-seeing? The bedroom is out of the equation here! XD

Siberiantiggy: Well nixing the bedroom does nothing to keep my male Mc in the pg realm, gazebos, lakes, hot tubs, kitchen counters are all fair game lolha.

Hmmm. I live in the middle of nowhere, and think I have the most in common with Jess. Her sailor worthy liver would make her a worthy partner for the orchard pub crawl(we have several micro breweries, distilleries and hard cideries). It's a great mix of booze, good food and great eye candy.

Afterdark team: We're sure that would have been an amazing day to experience.

And that's the end. Thank you so much for chatting with us!
