Serena POV
I was laying on a couch, one that was extremely comfortable. It was surprising since we had found it behind a guild hall with the sign 'FREE!' tapped to it. I was lying on the couch trying to get some sleep, when a horrible ruckus erupted from the level below me. It was amazing how quickly Cobra had gotten us a guild hall and guild members. Within two days we already had over three hundred members, and a whole bunch of noise with them.
I got up off the couch, slowly, since I was still waking up and I walked to the door. I was greatly pissed off. These people never seemed to sleep, I couldn't understand why. They drank and partied at night and they fought like animals during the day. Honestly, I was surprised I hadn't beaten them all to a pulp yesterday.
"You people!" I yelled as I opened the door. "All I asked was for a couple of hours of quiet so that I could sleep and think. We still need a name, since I don't think anyone just wants to be known as 'The Dark Guild.'"
"Uh, no ma'am." One of the followers coward.
"You will think of a great name I just know it!" Some other random voice yelled.
I wasn't going to bother learning anyone's names, from what I understood about dark guilds they lost members quickly since they tended to break a lot of magic rules. I had been doing my research on dark guilds, it was quite a creepy history and nothing ever seems to end well for them. But I would lead this guild to greatness, and I would get to my end goal.
"You can call us anything and we will be okay with it!" Another voice stood out from the crowd.
"Anyway, can you people please keep it down for a while?" I asked. I liked that they were giving me complements, but I really needed some time to think. "If I have to come out here again I will unleash my dragons wrath on all of you."
"Hey that's what we should call the guild!" Someone yelled.
"That sounds like a great idea!" Another voice exploded.
"I think we have our name princess." The only voice that I actually knew, rang in my ears. "I think you have put it off for long enough, make it official."
"Well I guess it has been decided, though I didn't seem to get much say in it." I looked over to Cobra who still seemed to wear that oddly cute creepy grin. "The name of our new dark guild shall be 'Dragon's Wrath.' We will be feared by all, defeat all who oppose us, and if they threaten us we will give them the dragon's wrath they were asking for."
Sporadically, the whole guild hall cheered happy to finally had a name. Having a name didn't bring the calm that I wanted, but it brought on more drinking and parting. I sighed, but I decided to let them continue on. Now that we had a name, we could start taking jobs and my main objective could finally begin.
"So princess, what are we going to do now?" Cobra was in my ear now.
"Cobra, don't be creepy." I smiled at the guy who had saved me life. I turned to face him, our noses almost touching. "About what we're going to do, we are going to do what I have been dreaming about for two days. You and I, my poison dragon slayer, are going to hunt down all the dragon slayers and take them out of this world."
With every word I could feel my soul darken. I felt something embedding itself, something that wouldn't be easy to take out. I could feel it turning my soul from sea blue to a navy blue. It hurt a bit, feeling the light being sucked away, but I embraced it knowing there was nothing else I could do.
"Finally a little bit of action!" His smile grew, with a bit of warmth hidden under it. He pulled me in close, placing his hands on my waist. "So who are we going to take out first Princess?"
