Katherine's POV

I missed her, everything around me seemed to be yet another reminder of her. Why did she have to be made of water? Why couldn't she be the dragon slayer of say lava, or even gas. Than she wouldn't be every where. In the air, in pools and every single damn faucet! I mean why?

For some reason the dragon slayers and their friends still had me held in the hotel room. It had been almost two days since they took me from my home and told me my sister died, but they weren't letting me step outside the room door. If I needed anything someone would go get it for me, I didn't understand why they wont let me out.

"Lucy?"I knew she would be on the other side of the door.

"What can I do you for?" She responded, not even giving a second hesitation.

I rolled my eyes at her desperation, honestly a few seconds wouldn't kill me. "I want to go out, just for a few hours. I need to get out of this room and get some other cloths."

"I uh-" Lucy showed the first sign of hesitation I had seen in two days.

"It's okay Lucy." The little master was behind her, looking rather calm. "I think it is time we let her explore after all, we can't leave her in here forever."

"Do you think she is ready?" Lucy whispered.

"You know I have really great hearing, so I can hear you Lucy." I gave her a lot of attitude.

"Right, I seem to keep forgetting that you're a dragon slayer like Natsu, Gajeel and Wendy." She shook her head in shame. "It's hard when you actually look, well, normal."

"What is that supposed to mean?" some of my attitude washed away, and I felt slight agitation take its place. "Are you saying that other dragon slayers don't look normal? That my sister and I-" I had to stop myself. There was no longer a 'sister and I' it was just me, myself, and I now. "No dragon slayer looks weird or out of place. That would be like saying that you don't look like a wizard. That is like saying Erza isn't an S class wizard."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way."

"I know you probably didn't but that is how I heard it, now if you will excuse me." I gestured my hand towards the blocked door. "I wish to go outside since you said that I could."

"There is just one more thing I want to talk to you about." The master stepped in front of Lucy, who didn't seem like she was expecting that. "I was wondering if you would be willing to join our guild? I normally don't do this, usually I let people come to us if they want to be in a guild but you are a special case."

"How so?" I asked, being dragged into the conversation fully.

"If they think that you can't find your own place in the world they are going to put you into a magic camp and experiment on you all day everyday." The little man explained, I couldn't tell if he was being serious or if he was just pulling my leg trying to get another strong wizard in his guild. "Listen to me child, I know I haven't known you for long. I know that I am a stranger to you, but you have to understand the gravity of the situation. The magic council may not be in its original state where an evil doer was in their ranks, but that doesn't mean there aren't still holes in the system where evil can live."

"Master, what are you implying?" Lucy was a little shaky now, was she always this weak when it came to something being wrong?

"I am not implying anything, I am simply stating the facts Lucy." The master had a cold sliver in his stature now. "If this young lady doesn't join up with a guild they will be making her into a human lab rat. She defies all odds. She is well over three hundred years old, practices two very different types of magic, has apparently met with almost every dragon that has been in existence. They would have a blast pulling her apart and probing her. Please my dear," he threw all his attention back to me, "please join our guild, I don't want your fate in their hands."
