Gray POV
As the girls took off towards town, they practically had to pull Katherine with them. She wasn't too happy that she was leaving her sister behind, but Porlyusica was adamant on the fact that she didn't want Katherine watching while her sister was about to go through something so painful that she needed two people to hold down the body. Porlyusica told Natsu to hold down Serena's legs, and she instructed me to hold down the torso. I had to admit that I felt really awkward because I didn't really know where to hold her.
"Are you sure this is going to work?" Natsu didn't seem to have that much faith in the woman, but I had seen her do wonders I knew that if anyone could do it....Porlyusica could. "Have you ever done something like this before?"
"Would you quit your complaining and just hold her down?!" Porlyusica scolded. "I am going to start soon and I don't want to get smacked in the face."
"Yes ma'am." Natsu chocked out, I hated to think he was asking for that but Porlyusica was one wizard you didn't fool around with.
"What exactly are you going to do to her?" I was curious what Porlyusica was planning, as I examined Serena's calm face. It was so different from the expression I saw while she was trying to kill me. "How exactly do you plan on pulling the darkness out?"
"Gray, you ask a lot of questioned." Porlyusica moved her glare from Natsu to me, but her expression seemed to relax as she figured out we would stop. "I will answer with a question, what is darkness always afraid of? What do shadows hide from? How do people lighten a dark room?"
"Too many riddles lady! Speak in English!" Natsu freaked out.
"Light." I whispered to myself as I realized what Porlyusica was planning on doing. "The practice of injecting light into a being has been banned for years, are you sure this is safe?"
"How should I know? You think I do this on a weekly basis?" I swear this lady had some kind of emotional disorder because her expression went instantly too disgusted. "This isn't a plan that I want to do Gray Fullbuster, but it's something I have to do. We can't leave her the way she is and there isn't any other way to help her that I know of. So bear with me while I attempt this forbidden magic."
Katherine POV
"Something is bothering you." Erza was the first to break the silence, I would have been happy but I was starting to enjoy floating in my own mind.
"Something is always bothering me." I laughed looking up at the sky. "Nothing has been the same, since well since I met any of you. I lost a sister, got her back, lost her again, and now trying to get her back again? Seeing all my dragon slayer siblings is weird as well because they are older now. Having people who care about me other than my sister and family....it's not something I am used to.
"Didn't you live in a village for a while?" Lucy inquired. "Wouldn't you have had friends and neighbors?"
"It was a village full of my family, the only outsiders were usually the males. But as soon as they married a female in our family they became family." I lectured. "So in a way, yes they were neighbors but they were also my family. Before meeting any of you, I hadn't really seen anyone from the outside world. I knew that you were real and all, but other that dragon slayers.... I don't really know much about people."
"Wow, your dragons were that strict?" Lucy seemed shocked, but she had never met a dragon before. She wouldn't know how they worked.
"Well when your freedom is taken wouldn't you be strict with everything else in your life?" I examined their faces, and it didn't seem that we were on the same page. "I guess that is a topic for another time. In the meantime, what do you think a water woman would wear? The only clothes my sister used to wear was water and I don't think that will work anymore."
