Natsu POV
I watched as the poisonous bubble floated above Fiore, I couldn't take my eyes off of it. It was strangely hypnotic watching this giant poisonous bubble that could potentially kill everyone in about a four hundred yard radius. It scattered the light from the sun and created tons of rainbows, I would have been happier if they weren't linked to a giant death bubble.
"My sister just started a war." Katherine announced, replying to some random guy in the crowd. Everyone around was silent, even some of the loudest members in the guild. And the silence was killing me.
"So what happens now?" I asked, hoping that everyone would come out of their silent state.
"I go to the south forest alone and find out what she wants." Grey announced, and there was a gasp that went through the crowd.
"You can't go alone!" Someone yelled.
"Yeah she will kill you!"
"Don't be a fool, you're strong but not that strong!"
The whole crowd went into a frenzy, telling us why he shouldn't go. All I was thinking about was how to get that bubble down. While Grey and other guild members were busy clearing out the villagers I was still looking up at the giant bubble. Maybe I could make the water evaporate? Make the poison dissipate into the air? I couldn't tell if that was a good plan or not.
"It wouldn't work." Someone whispered into my ear. I jumped a little as Katherine revealed herself beside me. "Sorry to scare you, but I know what you're thinking and you can't do that."
"Well why not it's just water." I fought back, maybe I was annoyed that she hadn't heard my plan, or maybe it was because I really wanted to shoot it with fire, but I felt very defensive.
"I am water, I could go up there and split the water from the poison and take the poison to the most remote location I can find." Juvia offered up her own plan. And Katherine just shook her head.
"I don't think you realize my sister's powers." Katherine stepped up. "So let me enlighten you all....she isn't quite water, her body is very much human, but water picked her from the moment she was born. The tail I was told was that when she came out of the house for the first time, the ocean danced. Water has given her more powers then anyone could ever imagine."
"There is nothing better than being water." Juvia fought.
"Really?" Katherine questioned, throwing so much attitude towards Juvia that I thought that she might fall over. Katherine was showing herself in a new light and it was oddly attractive. "My sister can create and break apart water molecules. She can choose what form the water is in and she can get water from anywhere because there is moisture literally everywhere."
"Ha! There is no moisture in the desert." Juvia fought back, not liking that someone could be a better water woman then she was.
"There is, there is moisture in the air, maybe not much but it is still there." Katherine cleverly shot back, I liked her spunk it was....cute. "No matter where you go or what you do you, especially people who use mater magic, have no chance of beating her."
"So she can create water out of thin air, that doesn't make her any stronger than other water wizards." Juvia was picking a fight with Katherine now, and I could tell that if it got physical it wouldn't last long.
"You keep interrupting me and not listening to the full story!" Katherine broke down yelling, around her little frost flakes appeared. "If you want to go and try to destroy her creation be my guest, but you can't say that I didn't try to warn you about her." Her eyes had a fire in them that I had never seen in anyone before.
