Katherine POV

As we began the trip back up the hill I felt it, an energy blast that was filled with the life and force of the sea. I kept on walking, but I couldn't shake the weird feeling that I was just smacked in the face by the ocean.

"She's back." Eric whispered, his voice was distant behind us, and it took me a moment to notice that he had stopped.

"Eric come on, or you will be left behind." I motioned for the tiny exceed to hurry along, but he just stood frozen. A look of joy was building on his face, but I was still slightly confused.

"Katherine she is awake....she is back....I can feel it." Eric's emotions, though he was far away, weren't hard to read. He was crying with joy, and I knew what that meant.

"She's back?!" My gaze kept moving from him to Erza, finally I settled on her and she was simply nodding letting me know it was okay.

I grew a pair of wings in seconds and speed off towards the clearing where my sister was. I knew I got hit in the face by the ocean, it was her magic letting all the water know that she was herself again. It was the most beautiful message I could ever wish for.

She needed to see me, she needed to know I was fine, I needed to know she was fine. I was so excited I almost couldn't contain myself. I could feel my tears of joy rolling out of my eyes and spraying behind me.

I landed softly in the clearing where my sister was laying, with Gray offering a helping hand. She looked confused, and frightened. It was almost as if she had seen a ghost or had a nightmare.

"Serena!" I yelled from the edge of the field, her head shot over to my voice so fast I thought she had given herself whiplash.

"Katherine!" She exclaimed, pushing Gray aside and almost tripping twice as she tried to make her way over to me. She wrapped her arms around me and we fell to the ground. "The last thing I remember was fighting on the ice burg....and then I think something happened inside me but it's all a little foggy....oh but I am so glad you're safe and unharmed! Oh you look so much fuller....how long has it been? Is that bag for me? Is it clothes?"

Serena was scatter brained as usual, leaping from one thought to the next, never letting one emotion take over for too long, she got into this habit when she and I were younger and was never able to break it. She never liked showing her true emotions anymore, so she managed to hide them by showing all of them.

"Oh Punk Princess! Oh their clothes are amazing!" She ranted as she pulled each article of clothing out of the bag one by one. "Yellow shirt....oh those pants! They look....That sweater, and the hat! Oh these are beautiful!" Her voice was saying one thing while her expression was telling me another.

"What's wrong Bubbles?" I questioned, using my childhood nickname for her to try and make her feel more comfortable.

"The sweater....it's awesome and huge and all....but can I make a change to it?" She gave me a look that told me she wasn't proud of her feelings, but she would love it so much more if she got her way.

"Yeah go ahead, rip off the damn sleeves already." I gave her the go ahead. "I knew you were going to anyway."

"Yes!" She said cheerfully. "So....how long has it been?"

"As sharp as ever!" Eric sang, finally entering in the clearing, in my excitement I forgot to grab him and bring him along.

"Oh my....Eric!" She grabbed her flying cat and gave him the tightest hug I had ever seen her give. "How long have you been here? Oh it doesn't matter! Oh you must have been so lost without me!"
