Serena POV

"Is that the best you got boys?" I laughed from the tree tops as Sting and Rouge were lying on the ground powerless. Their dragon force was slowly slipping away as mine was growing stronger.

"I thought....I thought you were dead." Sting forced out between swollen lips.

"Nope not dead, sorry that your little plan didn't end the way you wanted it to." I jumped off the tree, so I could watch their pain for a little while. "Maybe you should make sure everyone on your team has the same motives."

"What are you talking about?" Rouge was also just able to talk. "We weren't trying to kill you or your sister."

"Then why is she dead?!" I exploded kicking him in the gut again.

"Stop it!" His exceed yelled. "Don't hurt Rouge!" She was beat up pretty badly as well. Her left eye was almost completely swollen shut and her body was shaking from pain.

"And who is going to stop me cat?" I turned my attention to her, but not moving away from Rouge or Sting. "I know you certainly aren't." I looked at the four shaking bodies and decided that my job was finished for now.

I walked into the bushes towards where my camp with Cobra was set up. It took me longer to find it than I had expected, it was weird following Cobra's sent. I hadn't known him for long so I kept losing it among the wild life around me. When I finally was able to find the camp, to my surprise it was empty. Cobra was nowhere in sight. Where could he have gone? As I was looking for him there was a rustling in the bush beside me.

"You were awesome my Princess!" Cobra exclaimed, popping out of the bush behind me and lifting me up. I giggled as he spun me around so that I was facing him. When I was facing him I wrapped my legs around his waist, as soon as I did he started spinning me around in circles.

"Cobra!" I laughed as he spun. Than it suddenly hit me, that feeling in my gut that I was getting all too familiar with these days. "Cobra stop, I-I am going to be sick!"

"That's no fun I thought you would last longer." He laughed as he stopped making his vicious circles. "I can't believe that give you motion sickness, I am obviously not a vehicle." He placed his hands tightly on my waist and lifted my slightly so I would unlock my legs from his waist, than placed me gently on the ground below. I was facing him, looking into his beautiful swirling purple eye.

"Maybe not but I can still get-" I didn't get to finish my sentence before I had to turn around as the contents of my stomach were forced up and out. "That is the worst feeling in the world; I can't imagine why other dragon slayers always put themselves in vehicles."

"Ha, I don't understand it either." Cobra laughed at me, pulling my hair back as another wave of stomach insides came to the surface. "Feeling better?"

"Yeah I think so." I stood up tall. I looked down at my crocked cloths and decided that straightening my outfit was a good idea. "So was I really awesome? You know before I lost my breakfast?"

"You were ravishing Princess." Cobra began pulling me in close to him, a new habit that I was starting to like. "You were fascinating, swift. You executed your plan with grace and poise. I couldn't take my eye off of you. How your body moved as you beat them up, it was all just....amazing."

With every compliment Cobra got closer to me, and his voice became softer. As his sentence came to an end, his breathing and stature became more relaxed. A warm smile was playing at his lips. His walls were completely down, a first since I had been hanging with him. It was a side of Cobra that was nice to see, even if it was only for this moment.
