He and Bisca continued to take S-Class jobs whenever they were sent to Fairy Tail. Unfortunately, the job requests the guild received were mostly S-Class jobs asking for the Demon Fairy. This kept him and Bisca in business, but caused a shortage of income for the other guild members.

The guild continued to shrink over the years. Akros and Bisca, who became known as the "Sexy Sniper", became the new faces for Fairy Tail. The regular guild members has very few jobs to take, and received less income as a whole. The once large guild hall was torn down and resized to be much smaller. The mortgage for the original massive hall was too much, so the guild hall was reduced to a tavern.

The remaining members were Macao, Romeo, Wakaba, Kinana, Laki, Jet, Droy, Reedus, Bisca, Akros, Nab, Max, Warren, and Vijeeter. The guild hall was maintained by Akros and Bisca who donated money monthly to pay mortgage. The other members had very little income, so their earning was exclusively for themselves. This made many of them feel selfish.

This period of emptiness in the guild prolonged for years. Akros would stop by when he donated jewel to talk to Macao or Kinana, just to check in on them personally. Bisca knew the other members better, and would talk to them occasionally. Aside from that, the two didn't spend any time in the tavern. Working kept them occupied, and they were generally happy when around each other.

However, Akros hid something from her. In his time working for humans, doing righteous deeds, he realized how much of a scumbag he truly was. He felt like the good guy when he saved innocents, but how many more had he slain in Asha? Not only that, but he let thousands of female elves be raped by his demon army.

As time passed, Akros grew depressed and unsatisfied with his life with Bisca. It wasn't her fault, nor anything she could fix. He simply felt out of place. None of it felt right. He shouldn't be with humans. He didn't feel as if he deserved any part of this life.

Unbeknownst to him, his humanity was reborn when he fused with Acnologia's body. The Dragon King was once human himself, and his motive for his genocide against dragonkin was due to losing his loved ones to them. This passionate human emotion within Acnologia ignited the dormant flame of humanity within Akros' blackened heart.

As a demon, he had always wanted to wage war, to kill and devour souls to empower himself further. Now his demon blood was mixed with noble dragon blood, and his bloodlust was suppressed. It was suppressed by his depression as well, reducing it to almost nothing. He had no motive to kill anymore. That added with his human guilt plaguing his will, he started to slow down.

Bisca noticed his lack of enthusiasm over time, seeing his hesitation with jobs. She was afraid he had grown weary of her, and sat him down in their house one fateful night. She didn't know whether to feel relieved or crestfallen when he told her the truth.

"Y-you raped women in the past?"

"Several. Additionally, I allowed thousands of elf women to be raped by demons under my command. I could have stopped it, but... I'm a monster," Akros gave her a sad, exhausted smile. "I don't deserve this life with you. If anything, Acnologia should've struck me down. I'm not worthy of your love!"

Her heart broke along with his voice. She didn't cry immediately. She squeezed out every drop of her will to keep herself strong as she tried to comfort him. "Akros, I know you've done evil things-"

"Evil things?! I AM EVIL ITSELF!!" He roared in distress, clawing at his face. "DON'T TELL ME IT WAS IN THE PAST!! IT MATTERS NOT!! I SINNED FOR THE SAKE OF POWER, AND DID IT WITH A DAMN SMILE ON MY FACE!! I SHOULD DIE FOR WHAT I HAVE DONE!!"

"AND THEN WHAT?!" Bisca shrieked back, tears welling in her eyes. Akros froze, petrified by the sight of her crying. "YOUR DEATH WON'T SOLVE ANYTHING!! NOBODY ATONES IN DEATH, BECAUSE THEY ARE DEAD!! IF YOU WANT TO BE FREE OF YOUR SINS, THEN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!! GO BACK TO THAT DAMNED WORLD AND FIX IT!!"
