Eight months prior, when the children were first teleported...
Ormr was no stranger to darkness. He had been raised in a dimly lit castle on purpose to help develop his eyesight in the dark. However, by no means did that prepare him for the Shadow Fissure he met not even a minute after coming to Satisfy. He was teleported into a mountain cave where it lay, along with the vengeful whispers.
To make it worse, Demon King Morwen appeared. She encouraged him to close the fissure and told him of his purpose in this world. Needless to say, the immature demon dragon was crushed by the news of his father's madness.
Morwen was fortunately quite empathetic towards him. She cradled him in her bosom until he was able to calm down. That is to say, most of his body fits between her breasts. Her massive overall size and prominent bust versus his lack of overall size made their interactions quite unique. She felt like she was talking to a baby, which was actually quite accurate. Fourteen years for a dragon was similar to a single year for a human when it came to development. High-rank demons aged very slowly as well.
This in addition to how Ulvone heavily doted on him for his entire life resulted in his lack of independence. Morwen felt more and more guilty for sharing the news of his father with him, but he had to learn some day. She figured the sooner the better, as it gave him more time to cope with it.
Yet, Ormr was truly depressed. He grew up with the hopes of one day finding his father and making him proud with his demonic magic and draconic strength. To have this dream crushed also crushed his work ethic. He felt no desire to hunt monsters as Morwen suggested. Instead, he sat still in the mountain cave.
Morwen, at the peak of her guilt, came up with a solution. She had remained in this world for a long time, nearly as long as the Mad God had. That said, she knew of the recent spike in adventurer activity. The monsters inhabiting the mountain she and Ormr were in could be compared to upper-middle-rank demons. No doubt some of the stronger and intelligent adventurers would come here.
Morwen, having once been a mortal in a modern world, understood Satisfy's rules easily. She knew that 'adventurers' were actually 'players' after observing them for a short period of time. With her overwhelming power as a level 10,000,000 demon king, they would have to obey her. She developed an idea to help Ormr level up without directly involving herself.
After all, she had to visit his older siblings. Except for Hyacinth. Morwen discovered that if Ormr couldn't handle the news, the seemingly equally immature succubus likely could not either. Morwen decided to save her the trouble and delay her arrival in Satisfy. This way, she would also be humbled by her lack of power compared to her siblings. Morwen didn't have to know Hyacinth personally to know that her ego was large. Her outfit spoke it clearly.
The second day after Ormr arrived, a guild of players reached his cave. They had been working their way up the mountain since before Ormr arrived. Morwen watched them and noticed that albeit young-looking, the guild leader was very mature and tactful. She decided he was Ormr's best bet.
This guild was none other than the Hades guild. Their master was a young man whose username was Hao. He was China's highest ranked player and masterful martial artist in real life. His skills transferred into the game well, helping him level up much faster than many other players. He journeyed to the peak of Errstal Mountain for the reported grand rewards and the experience gained from all of the monsters along the way. It was rough, but it was good training for himself and his guild members.
After a battering day of trekking and combat, he was relieved to find a large cave. He led his guild members inside to rest after not sensing any danger. However, that was merely because he couldn't sense the danger. After his entire guild had entered the dark cave, they lit a bonfire. This was when the quiet, depressed Ormr was found. Along with the terrifying existence beside him.
