Six months later.

The seven children still had yet to reunite. Both dragons were asleep. One was training with a dragon. The other four were hunting nonstop to grow. This prevented them from seeing each other at all. Ellen and Orchid paired up to defeat ancient monsters all over the continent. Rhevos along with Hyacinth and Cora did similarly with Hyacinth being the main consumer of experience due to her low level. 

Hyacinth, of course, was very envious of Cora's beauty. The dark eel demon made it worse by doting on Rhevos in front of her, as if to let her know that he was taken. 

Many events happened in the Eternal Kingdom during these six months. There was the National Competition which halted almost all player activity for a few days. Then there was an invasion of golems sent by the great magician Braham as penance for Greed's ignorance of his request. Greed's efforts during the golem invasion awarded him the title of duke and the desert city Reidan.

With Yura and the tactful teenager user Lauel's help, Greed established a self-sustaining city with income, production, and defense. His main defense was the farmer and swordsman Piaro along with Bland, a noble turned farmer. 

Additionally, Rhevos and his two female companions aided Greed in the purge of desert monsters. They didn't have enough gold to pay off their weapons, so they made loans with him in the form of labor. Greed was, well, greedy like that.

It was very odd for the citizens and other users in Reidan to see demons walk around the city, but they never harmed anyone. Hyacinth was surprisingly docile as long as she got to see the blacksmith.

"Greed~!" Hyacinth leapt on his back while he was discussing business with Lauel and the merchant NPC Rabbit. 

"What the?! Hyacinth, I told you not to do that!" Greed whined, blushing a little. He tried to pull her off, but her strength was several times his. "Get off!"

"Fine..." She pouted and let go. Hyacinth had grown after abusing her Zenkai Boost in order to level up. She was five feet tall now and was beginning to grow curves. Her chest was perky, but there was enough for it to squish against Greed's back. Her hips had widened along with her rear and thighs. She was sure to become a very curvy woman, just like her mother. 

This was why Greed struggled to keep pushing her away. She was no longer a little kid, but now a very cute teenager. By human standards, she appeared around 16 even though she was short. Her advances toward Greed were very clear. Although she could force herself onto him, she didn't want to. She did that once with Marie Rose and was satisfied with the one time. Rape was not exactly a good way to make one fall for you.

"Miss Hyacinth, please refrain from interrupting our discussions," Lauel said with a tick mark on his face. "This is important business regarding the wellness of Reidan. Please leave."

"Oh, whatever. You're so lucky that my symbiote nullifies my pheromones," Hyacinth stuck out her tongue at Lauel before smiling at Greed gratefully. "Thank you for that, again."

"It's been three months, you can stop thanking me now, okay? Besides, Lauel is right. We can talk later, so can you please go?" Greed asked kindly. His manners and attitude had improved vastly after being married to a kind woman and having to take leadership. This was another reason as to why Hyacinth liked him so much. He was rough around the edges, but was kinder to her than most other humans. 

"If it's you asking, then okay. But first..." Hyacinth got on her toes and pecked his cheek. "Chu~!"

Greed blushed and pushed her away. "Damn it, stop seducing me. I'm married."

"..." She said nothing. Instead, she smirked at him slyly as she walked out of the conference room backwards and shut the door. 

Hyacinth teased him everyday, showing her affection in various forms. Hugs, pecks, even sneaking into his room at night to sleep with him. While he was loyal to Irene and didn't reciprocate the feelings she had, his resistance to her was weakening. Without Irene around, he was a bit lonely at night. He had to force himself to keep his hands to himself or he'd lose affinity with Irene for cheating. Satisfy's rules didn't permit disloyal partners.
