Georgia's POV

The school day was finally over, and I went home. Romessa was already there, waiting for me.

"Hi," she said and smiled.

"Hey, how was your first day in school?" I asked while I put my backpack on the floor.

"It was fine, what about yours?"

"It was nice, one girl showed me around the school, her name is Bria."

"Sounds nice. Oh, umm father's messenger brought a letter from mom." Romessa said timidly.

I raised my eyebrows. "Well, what did it say?"

"Mom just asked how is it going and when are we going to visit them."

I rolled my eyes. "Of course, she tries to get us to go back home. Well, write a letter that says that I am not going anywhere from here. I like it here. They can fuck off." I stormed to my room and slammed the door behind me. I hated how mom tried to get us back home. I would not return to that hell. Ever. Father hated me, that was sure. And I had a nice life here. I wasn't going back home.

Bria's POV

I was sitting on my bed, reading my favorite book when I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in," I spoke.

My mom opened the door and peeked inside.

"Hey sweetie, dinner is ready, you want to come to eat?" she asked.

"I'm not hungry mom"

"Well, if you change your mind, I'll be downstairs." she smiled and closed the door.

I wasn't hungry because this weekend was father weekend. I didn't want to see Anne. She always treated me so rudely. I got up and went to my bathroom. I decided to take a shower. It might help to clear my mind.
