Georgia's POV
I woke up on Saturday morning, quite late.
I heard Romessa and Jonathan in the kitchen, speaking. I got up and headed to the kitchen.
"Good morning," I spoke wearily.
"Good morning Georgia, do you want some coffee or tea?" Romessa asked and smiled.
I nodded and sat down. Romessa and Jonathan seemed a bit tense. They kept leering at me. I looked at them.
"What are you hiding from me?"
Romessa's eyes widened and I knew she was trying to make an excuse.
"Umm nothing, nothing... why would we be hiding something?" She gave me my coffee and I raised my eyebrows at her. My sister sighed.
"Fine," she said and took a letter from her pocket. "Here" she passed it to me. I looked at her and frowned. I slowly opened the letter. Then I saw who had sent it. I sighed but read it.
It was from our mother, she was asking us to come over today, for a family dinner. I snorted. Family dinner. Who was she attempting to fool?
I gave the letter back to Romessa and sipped my coffee. Romessa looked at me.
"What?" I asked.
"Are we going or not?" she raised her eyebrows. I snorted again. "Seriously Georgia, at some point we have to go to see them, if we won't they will come here!" Romessa began to sound pretty angry.
"Fine! We can go!" I shouted and rolled my eyes. I ate my breakfast quickly.
We were all dressed in our finest clothes, we couldn't go to see our family in some cast-offs. I looked at myself in the mirror. Red gown. Hair up. The make-up was decent. I took a deep breath. Then we left to see our parents.
Bria's POV
Matteo came to wake me up at 9 am so we could play board games. He loved every kind of board game, especially if he won.
We played for hours and then we ate some pancakes with syrup. Dad always made pancakes when I came to visit them.
Then Anne decided that we'd go bowling. It was fun too. Matteo won. Anne and I laughed at dad when he tried some weird bowling tricks.
Then we ate at a Thai restaurant, the food was amazing. Then we came back home and watched a movie, Matteo decided that we watched Frozen 2. The day was amazing, and I felt so happy.
On Sunday morning, I didn't feel so happy anymore.
Mom messaged me that she'd have to work overtime so she couldn't pick me up from dad's place. Thankfully I have my superhero, my aunt Samantha.
I called her and she said she could pick me up on her way home. Dad was sad that I would go back to mom's place, but he promised we would see each other after a couple of weeks.
At noon Samantha arrived and I hugged my dad and brother goodbye. I didn't know what to do with Anne, so I just smiled and walked to the car.
"What's up my Bribri?" Samantha asked and hugged me. I laughed. My aunt, ma tante, was the most amazing person I had ever met. She was a fashion model and designer. She was always looking great and had such a good sense of fashion, which was obvious.
"I'm alright, what about you?" I asked.
"Nothing special, I just came home from some fashion festival, and my clothes were super," she said, and we laughed. "So, your mom is too busy to have time for her daughter huh?" she asked and raised her eyebrows.
"No, she's just busy at work."
Samantha didn't say anything. Many of mom's relatives didn't think she was a really good mom, because of her work. But I loved my mom, and I knew she loved me.
"So, Bribri how's school going?" my aunt asked. We ended up talking the whole car ride home, we talked about everything. My school, my friends, her work, her friends and she told me she had visited my grandma too.
Finally, we were at home. I took my bag to my room and made some tea for us. Samantha decided to stay overnight because my mom wasn't coming home until tomorrow.
We ate something and then I went to my room and fell asleep immediately.
My alarm went off at 3 am.
I got up and dressed quickly. I went to check on Samantha, she was sleeping like a baby in mom's bed.
I went back to my room and took my "night walk" bag. It had stakes and other stuff I might need.
I opened my window quietly. I climbed out onto the roof and shut the window, but I left it unlocked. I climbed down from the roof and headed to the cemetery.
I looked at my watch. 3.20 am. I sat on a gravestone. Then I waited. It was a chilly night. There was no wind, but I still got shivers from the cold.
Then I saw something moving at one crypt. I got down from the gravestone and went closer. It was a vampire. I could bet it was young. It seemed dizzy. I was close to it, behind a tree. It didn't even look at me. Before it could even turn around, I ran to it and staked it. My jeans got covered in dust.
Then I felt something heavy jump on me. Another vampire? My head hit the ground. My vision became blurry, I must have hit my head pretty hard.
I kicked the vampire off of me and quickly got up. This vampire was older. It looked at me, hunger in its eyes. My heart was beating faster all the time.
I had lost my stake, so I couldn't kill it in any way unless I found a sharp wooden stick, and quickly. The vampire jumped toward me, and I dodged.
I ran to my bag and took another stake from there but at the same second the vampire jumped on me, and I fell facing the gravestone. I felt warm blood on my cheek. I couldn't move. I was trapped.
The vampire took my blood on its finger and tasted it. I felt its breath on my neck, and I knew I was going to die.
Suddenly the vampire quickly pulled away.
No. It was drawn away from me.
I got up on my elbows and tried to see who saved me.
Then I saw her clearly. A beautiful, teenage girl fought with a vampire. Her movements were so smooth, quick and full of power. In a few moments that vampire was dust.
The girl looked unreal in the moonlight as if she had been torn out of a fairytale.
And in that second, I knew who she was.
She was the vampire slayer.
I promised some action so here it is! I hope you enjoy it, please vote and comment if you like this story!!
