It's already December since the first day of the month the younger one started to spend her time alone the older noticed it.
Everytime Ryujin's inviting the younger one to go out and spend their time together, but Chaeryeong is always up with something, saying she's busy, her mom need her to buy something, her dad is planning something for this upcoming Christmas, her younger sister Chaemin wants to play a video game with her, her older sister want to practice with her.
Ryujin can't blame her, for sure she knows the younger one will go and do all of the do's with her family, but can't she just spare a time with her?
Ryujin misses her so much.
Ryujin watch her phone trying to think if she will send the text to Chaeryeong saying:
'Chaer? are you free today? let's go out, i miss you :<'
Ryujin clear it and throw her phone on the sofa as she groan "is she avoiding me?" she ask herself
she stands up and decided to go at the younger's house it's not really late for sure Chaeryeong's parents will let her.
as she arrived the younger's house she knocks and wait outside
the door got open revealing the younger's older sister
"Oh, Ryujin!" Chaeyeon says.
Ryujin smiles and said "hello, Chae.. is Chaeryeong here?" as she take a peek inside Chaeyeon nodded and let her in "yeah, she's on her room, it's been a days since i last saw you!" she said as she hugged the younger one
Ryujin just smiled and tap the older's back laughing at her "me too." Ryujin said Chaeyeon broke the hug and said "i'll call Chaeryeong for you, just wait here." Ryujin just nodded and sat at the couch fidgeting her fingers as she look around
the Lee house didn't changed except the decorations for this upcoming Christmas, they do decorate this early and Ryujin used to it.
"come on!" She heard Ryujin look up at the staircase and her smile went even wider that her whisker dimples showed up, seeing Chaeryeong being dragged out of her room by her older sister, wearing a comfortable sweater that make her look like a teddy bear, and a teddy bear pajama.
she heard the younger sighed and pouted then glanced at Ryujin, she stops and look over her sister, "Ryujin?" Chaeryeong ask Ryujin stand up her smile didn't disappear "hello, Chaer."

"you should really just call me, if you want to hang-out Jin.." Chaeryeong says right now both of them excuse theirselves to walk outside.
"you're just gonna ignore it, or will make an excuse.." Ryujin whispered but the younger one for sure heard that making her mouth went a little wide, a sudden and unexpected reply she heard from Ryujin.
she was about the speak but the older cut her "tell me Chaer.. are you avoiding me?" Ryujin stops and look at the younger one who's already staring at her.
"I-im not.. why w-would you think of that.." Chaeryeong stutters.. Ryujin sighed "i didn't.. you're definitely ignoring me.. did i do something wrong? that everytime i calls you, you're busy?" she added
Chaeryeong just gulped and said "Ryujin you're making it like a big deal.. im busy because of the household!" Ryujin shakes her head and said "i might making it, but i am sure you're avoiding me, when everytime i invite you and you says a reason why you can't come, i will call your Mom, Dad, Chaeyeon and Chaemin if you're truly busy, but they said you're not."
"Tell me Chaeryeong.. are you?" Ryujin asked once again.. Chaeryeong stares and stares until she gave up finally changing the topic "let's just go home, Jin, for sure mom's finding me."
"there you go again." Ryujin said as she stays on her place
"you're avoiding me.." Ryujin added "I'm not." Chaeryeong said "if you're not can you stay please..?" Ryujin ask
"I can't Ryu.."
"Why? why can't you? is-"
"because i don't want to be with you!" Chaeryeong suddenly blurst out, irritated.
"w-what?" was the only word that came out on Ryujin's mouth "i can't be with you all the time Jin, some people think we're dating! i can't stand it! then.. just before this month someone told me you like me and i-"
"and what if i do?" Ryujin just cut her off looking at the younger's eyes "h-huh.."
"what if i do like you..? that i wanted to spend my christmas with you forever.. that i wanted to have a small picnic in our birthdays, just the two of us, that how i wished that i was that guy who invited you to the prom last month, that how i wished that you can just tell me that you like me, just like what's my feeling for you.. what if i do LOVE you?"
Ryujin says Chaeryeong stared at her "Ryujin.."
"Chaeryeong, I like you."
"but i don't.. i only sees you as my bestfriend Ryujin.. nothing else, Im sorry."
Ryujin look away then look down blinking her tears away as she chuckles "i knew it.." she said
"Jin..."
"You like her don't you? you like our school president.. Yeji, right?" Ryujin said Chaeryeong didn't reply just shake her head
"why am i so stupid Chaer..?" she asks Chaeryeong was about to reach her hands but Ryujin sighed loudly and said "that's fine.. i hope we can be still friends.. enjoy your christmas Chaeryeong, i'll see you." before leaving the younger one shouting her name
she chuckles and continue to walk away from the younger wiping her tears from her eyes
"why am i so stupid?"
"i knew it all along.. why did i continue it?"
"she likes me as her bestfriend and nothing else, i know that."
"but why did i continue it? why did i tell her?"
"why am i so stupid."
