I was invited to a bar to meet some of my brother's friends. I was dressed in a simple flannel and jeans. So I made my way to Joe's bar and walked up to the bar.
"Can I get a beer please." I asked the bartender who smiled at me and continued with my order. I thanked him as I paid him for the drink.
"There you are." Travis exclaimed as he put his arm over my shoulder.
"Here I am." I nodded as I sipped my beer.
"Come on. There over here." He said as he pulled me with him. We reached a table full of people until my eyes found someone I recognised. "Hey guys, this is my sibling Y/N." He introduced everyone.
We were in the bathroom stall, she was pressed against the door as I was kissing and sucking her neck harshly.
"Fuck." She whispered through her moans. My hands trailed her body before I cupped her breasts. "Please." She moaned as my hands slipped into her jeans and pushed her underwear to the side taking in her wetness.
"Hey." I waved shyly as Her eyes widened.
"So how come we have barely heard about you?" Vic asked me as I sat beside my brother.
"I went to Stanford Med and I got my first residency in LA." I told them as I drank my beer. "I have only recently got offered a job here at Grey Sloan."
"Wow." She gasped as Andy's eyes never left me. "So you're like super smart?" She asked making everyone chuckle.
"Y/N here is a Neuro Surgeon." Travis bragged as he bumped my shoulder.
"I need another drink." I told them as they all nodded before I left the table. As I was waiting at the bar someone came and sat beside me.
"I didn't know you were Travis's sibling." She stated quietly.
"Well, I didn't know you were his colleague." I countered. The two of us looking forward like were waiting patiently for our drinks.
"I haven't able to stop thinking about that night." She told me as I shook my head.
"It can't happen again." I told her as she turned to face me.
"Why?" She asked me.
"Because you and my brother work together. You're practically family." I told her as she scoffed.
"That doesn't stop me from feeling the way I do." She spoke with certainty.
"Well it has to." I said as I stood up to go back to the table. "Hey. I have to head off. Got an early rise." I told Travis who looked sad before I hugged him and headed out the door.
As I walked down the street, I could hear her call my name. I tried to carry on walking but she was persistant.
"What Andy." I groaned as I turned to face her.
"What is truly the problem?" She asked me as I shook my head at her.
"I can't." I told her as I turned around to walk away. But her hand on my wrist stopped my movements.
"Why?" She pressed on
"Because I can't let myself feel again like that. I just can't." I told her as she shook her head.
"That's not good enough." She said with a raised eyebrow.
"I have felt this way before. When I let my guard down I got my heart broken." I told her angrily. "I was the one who ended up going out just to drink away the pain. To not feel the heart ache." I took a deep breath before continuing. "When I fall for someone, they break my walls down. No matter how high I build them. When I fall for someone, I fall hard. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I just need to know the other person will do everything they can to protect my heart."
"I will protect it Y/N." She whispered as she caressed my cheek looking directly in my eyes. "If you let me."
I closed the distance and sealed our lips in a soft kiss. Both of us pouring our unsaid feelings into it.
