Y/N had always been pine over Wanda since she moved to the compound. She noted that they always carry this journal around and she has caught them writing in it numerous times.
What she didn't know was that everything he written was about her. One day they left to go the library with Peter.
"So, do you still write those love sick poems for Wanda?" He teased them.
"Shut up." They told him as they looked around the old literature section. They had been obsessed with old romantic literature because they have seen Wanda watch some old movies like Sense and Sensibility. What they never realised was that they had left the book on the counter by the coffee machine and Wanda being the one who loves to occupy the kitchen was the one to find it.
She flicked through it and saw little cute verses. She found them endearing and thought that the girl who Y/N was in love with was one lucky girl. Little did she know that they were all about her.
"That's Y/N's." Nat stated as she walked in the kitchen.
"Do you know who they're about?" Wanda asked the spy who looked at each verse.
"You." She stated bluntly and Wanda was flabbergasted.
"How?" She asked her stunned.
"Well listen to this one." She said before she read one. "A laugh so melodic. A smile so bright. Even through all of the pain. You shine brighter than any sun."
Wanda was shocked. She loved the way they had written. So she took the book back and walked to her room and read some more.

She loved reading them as she went on. What she didn't realise was that Peter and Y/N were on their way back. When the walked into the living room they saw Nat sat on the sofa.
"Wanda has your book." She said without moving her attention from the tv. Y/N's heart stopped and all of the colour drained from their face.
"No no no." They muttered before Nat looked over and saw their panicking state.
"Don't worry. She loves them." She tried to reassure them. But just on time, Wanda came down to speak to Nat but her eyes caught sight of Y/N.
"Hi." They whispered shyly. Nat dragged a smirking Peter out of the room. Wanda smiled softly at a nervous Y/N.
"So, they're about me?" She asked them as they nodded shyly avoiding eye contact. "Were you ever gonna tell me?"
"No." They wanted the ground to swallow them whole.
"Why?" She stepped forward causing them to look at her approaching form.
"Because you would never see me like that." They told her honestly.
"How would you know?" She asked them. "You know, reading these poems. Seeing how you see me and not the monster I am. I don't know how I feel about anyone but I am willing to learn with you."
She pulled them in for a long hug as they both relished in the warmth of each other. Neither wanting to move from the other.
