Liana's POV

Swimming back across the lake was difficult and a long task, but that gave me time to think what I would do of those two physco monkeys after I felt the ground under my feet.

Coming back to the warmth of grass was a boon. I moved my hair towards my left shoulder and lay myself on the grass. Closing my eyes and taking a deep breath I relaxed under the sun. Opening my eyes I gazed at the blue sky and remembered the picnics I and Ella used to plan. ELLA! Shit!

I got up from my position and ran towards the water jumping into it. I went towards the direction I previously came from and spotted two hands coming out of the water. I swam as fast as I could and went towards those hands thinking that it was Ella. As I went closer it didn't look like her hands but as one of the guys.

A face came out of the water followed by another one and as I thought, it was not Ella but the guys. 'Oh god, please let Ella be safe. Please.' I prayed in my mind and went towards the guys. "Hey Li." Said Jon while swimming towards me followed by Ethan. "Fuck the hey and search for El." I shouted as both of them stopped swimming and looked shocked.

"Shit." Ethan cursed and turned back towards the direction of the boat. We followed him and swam as fast as we could. When we reached there we saw the boat upside down on the surface of the water with no sign of Ella. "Fast you morons." I shouted on top of my lungs. "Ella." Jon shouted. "I think she is under the boat." Ethan proposed as I swam towards it. I went inside the water and under the boat but there was no sign of her.

I resurfaced on the water and said, "She is not here. Just go into the water and see if you can see her anywhere." and went into the water again. The fact that the water was not cleaned regularly as it was in pools was not helping us. I came up back and shouted, "Ella." No response. "Ella." No response. I swam a little away from the boat looking for her, but still no sign. "Ella." I shouted only to hear water splashing somewhere close by.

I swam to where the sound was coming and saw a hand with the bracelet I gave her. "Shit." I cursed and went towards her hand. She was drowning. Thank god for the splashing noise or I wouldn't have come to know about her directions. I went into the water and pulled her out. When we came back to the surface her head was on my shoulder and she wasn't moving. "Ella are you awake?" I asked, panic and fear lacing my voice. "Ella, talk to me." I said but there was no response. "Ethan, Jon." I shouted to catch their attention cause I could not swim back to the land with Ella in my hands or more like arms.

"Coming." One of them shouted back and in a minute I saw both of them coming towards us. "Fuck." Ethan said taking a look at Ella. "Is she alright?" asked Jon. "I don't know when I came here I saw only the palm of her hands and she was drowning. She is not responding. Do something, fast." I said as Ethan took Ella from me and put her on his back with her hands around his neck and one of his hands catching both her hands in place. "We need to get her out of water as soon as possible." Said Ethan and started swimming in a random direction.

After swimming for what seemed an hour we made it to a deck, which was the main deck. I got on the deck first and pulled Ella up. She hadn't responded or moved a single time. I laid her down and rubbed her palms. Jon ran towards the car and got what looked like a coat and covered Ella with it. Ethan was trying to wake her up from her unconscious state but she never responded. A tear escaped my eye when Ethan shouted, "Call the ambulance. She isn't responding and her body is ice cold." I froze.

"No. Ella wake up. Stop with the drama. You are freaking me out. Please please please wake up." Another tear escaped my eyes and I started sobbing badly. "Wait we have to get out the water from her lungs. If it comes out we can save her. Move." Jon shouted and Ethan made way for him. He knelt down and raised her hands to check her pulse. Then kept his hand near her nose, "Ok, so she not breathing and her pulse is not there."
