I NEED MY PRICE

My mom opened the door for us and took me in. She smiled at me and turned at Austen, "Thanks Austen, please come in and join us for a coffee." I rolled my eyes, don't tell me I'm loosing the bet aldready. I was waiting for Austen to reply, "No mam, you don't need to thank me. And sorry I won't be able to stay for coffee." I mentally smiled. "No son, don't worry a coffee won't take a lot of time. Come on in." and with that my house welcomed Austen. Why do I feel I'm gonna lose today, no way.

We had coffee and Austen got up from the sofa to leave only to go and bang on the side table and fall down. Shit! Is he alright, god is he bleeding or something, hell no, please no. I swear how can I be so selfish, thinking only about the bet. Li entered the room with a bag in her hand and saw Austen on the floor, "Austen, you alright", was all that I could ask as mom and Li tried to help him stand. He just nodded, got up and caught his knees. He sat on the sofa and Li rushed to the kitchen to get some ice and a glass of water. When she came back she handed the glass of water to Austen and he took a sip from it. I moved forward to take the ice pack from Li’s hand and placed it on his knees. My free hand was on Austen’s cheeks and I asked him if he was alright to which he nodded and I gave a small smile. “Ahhem, ahhem,” my moms voice broke our eye lock. Austen shook his head and started, “I think I should leave now.” And was about to get up when I held his hand. “No, I don’t think you should drive like this, I mean with your hurt knee. It will only hurt more. Why don’t you stay over?” I turned my gaze to my mom who was smirking at me, “What do you think mom.” She smiled at me and then turned towards Austen nodding her head in agreement, “I think she is absolutely right.” “Case dismissed.” Li shouted giving a punch in the air .

“Austen you can use the guest room for tonight and I’ll give you one of Robert’s t-shirt which I don’t think might fit you as they are way too big, but I hope you can manage tonight.” Mom said as I started laughing gaining stares from others, “What? Imagining him in dads clothes.” I said pointing towards Austen and then the others joint except Austen, who had no idea what my dad’s t-shirt size was. Well not that dads size is so big and all, he is not fat, but he is quite tall. So, yaaa…

“El, can we go to your room?” Li asked and I nodded. “Well, take Austen up and show him the guest room while I get some ointment and dads t-shirt.” Mom said and Austen got up from the sofa, “Owwww……” and came and stood behind me.

“So that’s your room tonight. Sweet dreams” Li said showing Austen the guest room and pushed me towards mine. “Looks like we have to handle a crying Romeo.” She said as she opened the doors room for me. “Ummmhumm.”

I sat on my bed after changing and doing my before bed routine, ya whatever the call it, while Li was brushing her teeth. “So El, how was todays day?” she asked wiping her face with a towel. “To start with boring, all the doctor checkup and blah blah blah…” “Not that fool…” She said as she jumped on her side of the bed, to sit crossed leg “…. I meant your date with Romeooooo.” And then I told her the whole story till the kiss when she started singing, “Two little love birds sitting on a tree, ooops! Sorry. Two little love birds sitting in a car, muahhh muahhh………. we all fall down.” And then she bent back to sleep only she was in the corner and then she fell down. At this point I started laughing hard. She got up from the floor and rested her arms on the corner of the bed resting her chin on them, showing me her finger. “What th….” “the hell is….” “Wrong with you. First you…..” “Mix two differ……” “Songs and then fall…” “Of the bed. How can I not laugh……” “At that……” “ Fool.” I managed saying between my laughter. She made an O mouth and came and sat next to me on the bed again. I finally stopped laughing and held my arms out to her. She came in and we did a koala bear hug, the one it does to the eucalyptus tree. “I love you” was all that I said and she replied with an “I love you too.” and then kissed on my cheeks. She pulled away, “So, lets continue Romeo- Juliet story.” I rolled my eyes and lied on my bed with Li on my side and a pull over on us. I was about to continue the story when I found that Li had slept like what seemed long-long ago. I smiled and pulled the pull over to her chin and then closed my eyes to sleep.

After a meaningless try to sleep for half an hour I got up from my position and took my phone from the side table. There was a new message from Austen just 15mins back. I opened it and read it:

‘Just can’t sleep. What bout u?’

I smiled and replied to the message.

‘Me too, ;)’

Him: ‘missing me already?’

Me: ‘Why would u wanna hurt ur ego?’

Him: ‘O please! I know you miss me.’

Me: ‘Good night babe.’

Him: ‘stop babying me, I know u miss me -_-‘

Me: ‘And what makes u think so?’

Him: ‘I’ll show you that.’

Me: ‘I don’t get it?????’

Him: ‘Patience sweetheart, patience.’

 After about 15 mins of the damn ‘patience’ thing, there was a knock on my room and the door opened to show Austen, shirtless. OMG, he looked damn hot, like burning hot, if that makes sense.

He had a smirk on his face, “Stop ogling over me, I’m all yours.” He told. I rolled my eyes and answered, “I’m not ‘ogling’ over you. What are you doing here at 11:30.” He smiled his breathtaking smile and came towards the bed, I switched on a dim light so that he doesn’t trip off in the middle, to tell you the truth my room is the most beautiful one in the world, note sarcasm. Wait he just fell 2hrs ago and now he was walking all normally, how is this possible. He came and sat next to me, still smiling. I am so gonna move that smile off his face if it was some silly thing, I pledged to myself. He bought his face closer to my ears and whispered, “I won the bet, so now I need my price.” And then all the bet thing came into my mind again more like trashed into my mind again. I face palmed myself after Austen moved into his normal posture. I started, “But that’s not fair, you fell down and I thought that you got hurt an…..” short silence as I began to think, “Austen did you really fall down or was it a trick or whatever you call it?” I gave him a glare. He smiled, “What do you think babe? Now that I won I want my prize.” he asked/ said. I was shocked, “That is not fair, you cheated.” He rolled his eyes and started telling in a song like tune, “But, everything is fair in love and war.” I shook my head and thanked the person who made or said this. “OK, what do you want.” He smirked and shifted closer to me. Our eyes locked, his gaze went towards my lips and I couldn’t help seeing his pink and wet ones. One of his hands cupped my cheeks as he moved his face towards mine. Our nose and forehead touched, his lips were inches away from mine. His breath was fanning my lips. My hand went to his hair while the other touched his bare chest. I was dying for his lips to cover mine. He pulled me towards him with his hand on my waist and his lips were about to touch mine ………………….

 I know, I know an update after a long long time, but i'm sorry. Please forgive the writer(Thats me :P)
