Build
Build couldn't find peace in sleep that night. His thoughts churned with memories he'd long buried.
Why, of all times, did Blue have to reappear now, just as he'd found happiness, just as he'd fallen deeply in love with someone else? When he reached for his phone, he noticed a message from Bible, sent late the previous night.
I just got home. I bet you're sleeping. I'll tell you about what P'Pond told me tomorrow. I'll be sleeping as well. Goodnight, love. I love you.
A soft smile crossed Build's face as he read it. Bible was his steady anchor, the one he loved more than words could convey.
Feeling a bit lighter, he went about his morning routine, trying to brush off the lingering worry.
Just then, the doorbell rang.
When he opened it, there stood Bible in his workout gear—a black sleeveless top, shorts, a cap, and a facemask, with a small bouquet in one hand and breakfast in the other.
Build felt his cheeks warm at the sight of him.
"Good morning," Bible greeted him, eyes crinkling in a smile even behind the mask.
"Get inside," Build insisted, taking the flowers and food. He returned to Bible, gently removing his facemask, revealing his boyfriend's warm smile.
Instead of responding with words, Build leaned in and kissed him—deep and sincere.
Bible held him close, returning the kiss with equal warmth.
"Now that's a good morning," Build said, smiling.
"I could get used to that," Bible teased, tapping Build's nose playfully.
"Let's eat. I thought you'd be too lazy to cook."

After breakfast, they moved to the couch, Build curled up on Bible's lap, absently playing with his hair.
He decided to ask, "So, what did you and P'Pond talk about?"
Bible took a breath, his arms tightening around Build's waist.
"Well, it's about a new project. You'd be the main character."
Build's eyes widened in surprise.
"Me? The main character?" His mind raced with excitement.
"So, you'll be my leading man, right?"
Bible's expression turned serious, and Build's excitement wavered.
"Not exactly," Bible said slowly.
"You'd be the main character, and I'd be the second lead. And, well... that guy—Blue—would be your leading man."
