Bible

Bible   felt a surge of unease the moment he noticed Build's discomfort in front of this man, Blue. He didn't like the way Blue was looking at Build—whether it was the "oh-you're-so-pretty" look or the "I've-missed-you" look, it made Bible's skin crawl. He had a knack for reading people through their eyes, and there was something in Blue's gaze that he didn't trust. He didn't like it.

Stepping beside Build, Bible extended his hand, hoping to divert Blue's attention from his boyfriend. "I'm Bible Wichapas. Pleased to meet you," he said, trying to keep his tone cordial.

Blue briefly glanced at Bible before shaking his hand. "I'm Blue," he responded, then turned his attention back to Build. "Blue Pongtiwat Tangwamchareon."

Without missing a beat, Blue's gaze softened as he addressed Build. "Hi, it's been a long time, BuiBui," he said with a familiarity that made Bible's fists clench. **BuiBui?** Bible thought, his annoyance spiking. Why on earth would this guy call *his* boyfriend by that nickname, especially in front of him? The nerve.

Build's discomfort was evident. He offered a polite but detached response. "Yeah, it's been a long time," he said flatly.

Blue took a step toward Build, arms outstretched for what seemed like an attempt at a hug, but thankfully, Build stepped back, dodging the embrace. Before the situation could escalate, P'Pond approached.

"Good thing you two are here. After the photoshoot, come back to the office. We have something to discuss," P'Pond said, cutting through the tension.

Blue, sensing his time was up, smirked. "I'll see you guys around," he said, throwing a wink in Build's direction as he walked out.

Bible's hands clenched involuntarily. The guy had the audacity to wink at Build in front of him. He glared at Blue until he disappeared through the door.

A gentle touch on Bible's hand brought him back to the moment. Build's soft smile reassured him, silently asking him to let it go. With a deep sigh, Bible nodded. He trusted Build—if there was something to be said, Build would tell him in time.

"You two should get ready," P'Pond added, signaling the start of their hectic day.

Later, after the photoshoot, Bible and Build were driving home. The day had been busy, leaving them with little chance to talk. As Bible drove, his focus on the road, he felt Build's hand rest on his thigh. He glanced over and saw the tiredness in Build's eyes.

"We'll talk about it later," Bible reassured him, giving his hand a comforting squeeze.

The rest of the ride was quiet, with Build staring out of the window, lost in thought. Bible snuck glances at him, admiring how the city lights played off his features, casting a glow that made him look almost ethereal.

"You're beautiful," Bible said softly, his eyes returning to the road.

Build chuckled at the compliment, breaking the silence.

When the traffic light turned red, Bible rested his head against the steering wheel and turned toward Build, who seemed lost in thought. "You must be tired. Should I drop you home?" Bible asked.

"P'Pond will be mad," Build replied, though his voice lacked conviction.

"I'll drop you home first. I'll head to the studio afterward and update you on what we talk about. You should rest." Bible kissed Build's hand as the light turned green, and he started driving again.

Taking a shortcut, Bible soon pulled up in front of Build's home. He got out of the car and opened the door for him.

"Get some rest, okay?" Bible said, helping Build out of the car. "I'll text you when I get home later," he added, pressing a soft kiss to Build's forehead.

To Bible's surprise, Build tugged on his shirt and pulled him into a tight embrace. He sighed deeply as he held Bible close, resting his head against his chest. Bible stroked his hair, sensing the weight of Build's unspoken feelings.

"Take care on your way home. I love you too much," Build murmured before pulling away.

Bible smiled, taking his hand and walking him to the door. "Goodnight. It's been a long day. Sweet dreams, okay? I love you," he whispered, pecking him gently on the lips.

Build smiled softly before heading inside. Bible waited until the door closed, then returned to his car, feeling the fatigue from the long day settle in. A yawn escaped him as he started the engine, his thoughts wandering back to the earlier encounter with Blue.

As Bible drove toward Be On Cloud studio, he couldn't shake the nagging feeling about Blue. Build had clearly been uncomfortable, and Bible couldn't help but wonder what history lay between them. He wanted to know, but he also respected Build's space. He would tell him when he was ready. It wasn't that Bible didn't trust Build—he did. What bothered him was Blue's behavior, and how it had affected Build. What had happened between them to make Build so uneasy?

When Bible arrived at the studio, he headed straight for P'Pond's office and knocked on the door.

"Come in," P'Pond called out.

Bible stepped inside to find P'Pond sipping coffee. "Build went home early. He was tired and needed some rest," Bible explained as he sat down.

"That's fine. You can update him later," P'Pond said with a nod. "There's a new project for you and Build. A new series. But here's the catch: we're thinking of casting Blue Pongtiwat as the lead. He'd be paired with Build."

Bible's heart skipped a beat at the mention of Blue being paired with Build. He sat quietly for a moment, processing the information.

"And I wouldn't be the lead?" Bible asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You'd still be in it, but you'd be a secondary character," P'Pond explained. "A lot of fans ship Build with Blue. Some even think they used to date. But no pressure. If you want to take the project, great. If not, we can move on."

Bible's chest tightened at the thought of Build being paired with Blue. But he understood the opportunity—these kinds of roles couldn't be passed up lightly. "I'll talk to Build about it first. He needs to know, especially since he's the main character," Bible said before standing up. "Thanks, P'Pond. I'll let you know soon."

As he left the studio, the idea of Build working closely with Blue gnawed at Bible's heart. But he trusted Build—he loved him, and he knew Build loved him back. Whatever history existed with Blue, they would face it together.

When Bible finally got home, he sent Build a quick message.

I just got home. I bet you're sleeping by now. I'll tell you what P'Pond said tomorrow. I'm heading to bed, too. Goodnight, love. I love you.

With that, Bible switched off his phone, took a shower, and collapsed onto his bed. As he lay there, he felt a small weight jump onto the bed—his cat, Grey, settling in beside him. Bible smiled, closing his eyes as the comforting purrs of his furry companion lulled him into much-needed rest.
