2 days left until the Christmas Ball...

Buck is the first to wake up. He goes to Eddie's room and doesn't see him. He panics until he smells Bacon cooking from downstairs. He looks over the mezzanine and sees Eddie preparing them both breakfast. He walks down the stairs to join him in cooking. "Hey, do you want any help with that?" Buck offers

"Nah, you go sit down. It's the least I can do Buck" Eddie smiles.

"Well thank you" Buck walks towards the table about to pull out a chair when Eddie beats him to it and pulls it out for him. Buck sits down smiling at Eddie with his eyes glistening.

"Are you after something?" Buck chuckles whilst smirking

"What makes you say that?" Eddie questions

"I don't know, maybe because you're doing all this" Buck replies as Eddie brings him over a clean plate and shuffles some Bacon onto it.

"It's just me trying to say thank you for being there for me I guess"

"You don't have to-" "Just let me" Eddie demands

He finishes putting the rest of the food on Bucks and his own plate. They tuck in when Buck asks Eddie if he's got anyone on his mind that he might take to the ball.

"Maybeee" Eddie teases hoping to get the guts to ask Buck before it's too late.

Buck who is interested says "spit it out then" "Who are you taking?"

Eddie half chokes on his food not expecting him to ask "uhm, you'll see" "You got anyone Buckley?"

"Nope, I don't think I'll have one, just another Christmas alone" Buck sighs with his eyes saddening by the second

"Bless, I can stay for Christmas you know" Eddie comforts Buck

"You'll probably want to spend it with your date" Buck whines.

"We'll see" Eddie replies as he finishes off his breakfast. He waits for Buck to finish his and then he washes up.

"Shall we go Christmas shopping today, maybe buy our suits for the dance". Buck suggests

"Yeah, I've done my shopping, but I could do with a new suit, my old ones a, uhm, bit tight now round the tummy" Eddie sighs while looking down at his stomach.

"Hey! You look fine, everyone gains a bit of extra chub at Christmas, it just shows you're enjoying yourself" Buck says confidently trying to cheer Eddie up.

"Yeah, I guess they do" Eddie replies feeling a little bit more confident.

2 hours pass, they've completed their Christmas shopping and are now going to get their suits.

"I'm going to get the usual one I do, what about you Buck?" Eddie asks whilst picking up his black suit.

"I'm going to get the same as you, just with a dickie bow instead" Buck chuckles, slightly embarrassed.

"Cute" Eddie blurts out, drowning in embarrassment.

"Well, I guess that's a good thing, I'm going for a cute but subtle look" Buck giggles.

Eddie goes off into the changing rooms first whilst Buck waits outside. He finishes up and pulls the curtain open. Buck sits there in shock of how handsome Eddie looks. "You look amazing" Buck shouts softly. Eddie blushes but tries to play it off. Buck can't stop looking at Eddies muscles through his blazer. "I don't know, I think it's a bit tight" Eddie hides his stomach insecurely. Bucks stands up and pulls Eddies arms from his stomach "You look great, stop worrying" Buck looks down into Eddies eyes and then goes into the changing rooms. He comes back out "What do you think" he says confidently. 'You look so fucking fine' Eddie thinks to himself wishing he could tell him, "It's cute and handsome" Eddie smiles as he straightens out Bucks bow. Buck blushes and think about if he should ask Eddie to the dance. 'I couldn't think of a more perfect man' they both think as they look into each other's eyes. Their lips getting closer by the second. Eddie wishing, he could push Buck into the changing rooms and undress him. "Are you finished?" the cashier asks. Buck and Eddie quickly step back. Buck clears his throat "Yeah, we'll take these". They get back into their comfort clothes and buy the suits.
