3 days left until the Christmas Ball... And it's snowing...

Eddie wakes up expecting to see Buck beside him, but it was just the blanket. He looks around and waits for a doctor when he sees Buck flirting with a nurse in the hallway. "I knew I wouldn't have a chance with him" Eddie sighs as Buck approaches the door. He opens the door and chuckles closing it slightly behind him.

"Hey, I think I just got myself a date" Buck giggles excitedly as he gestures his hand towards the nurse.

"Oh, nice, at least that makes one of us" Eddie sighs.

Buck notices Eddie's eyes starting to well up. "Haha, I'm just fooling around with you" Buck quickly replies as he declines the nurse's friend request. "But she did say you are free to leave, as long as you stay under some sort of supervision until you're fit enough to return to work, I told her that I will look after you". Buck smiles.

"I'll be fine by myse-" Buck cuts Eddie off mid-sentence "Doctors orders".

The doctor comes in and discharges Eddie from the hospital. They get in Bucks car and begin to drive down to the firehouse when Eddie's favorite Christmas song plays on the radio.

"I love this song" Eddie says as he gets ready to sing his heart out.

Buck chuckles and turns the radio up. Unable to contain himself Eddie begins to sing.

Eddie: "Last Christmas I gave you my heart"

Buck joins in: "But the very next day you gave it away"

Both of them are now singing together: "This year to save me from tears, I'll give it to someone special"

"Heyyy, you're pretty good" Buck says whilst bopping his head to the beats.

"you're not so bad yourself" Eddie blushes.

They carry on singing all the way down to the firehouse. They get out the car and Buck walks in with his arm around Eddie.

"Look who's back on his feet" Buck shouts in excitement.

"Hey Eddie, it's nice to see you're doing better" Bobby pulls him in for a hug.

"Yeah, great to see you man" Chim replies.

"We won't be at work today as he's got to rest, and I've got to make sure he's alright and just look after him" Buck says whilst brushing the snow out of Eddies hair.

"Well, you're just in time for our Favorite homemade meal" Bobby exclaims

"Lasagna" Buck and Eddie both shout

"Yep, come on let's go sit down and eat" Bobby chuckles.

They all gather around the dinner table and grab a serving.

"Oh cap, how I've missed your cooking" Buck snaffles and then realizes Eddie's just playing with his.

"Eddie, come on, please eat." Buck pleads

Eddie shows a half smile "Yeah, I'm going to go the toilet, I'll be back"

Eddie walks off and Buck worries. "Hey cap, he won't open up to me, He's always told me when somethings bothering him, but he just seems to be getting worse. He has his happy moments and then he's down low again"

"You just got to give him time, just be there for him alright. He'll come around". Bobby replies

"Yeah, I can do that" Buck begins to stress eat.

Meanwhile Eddie's in the bathroom.

"Come on Eddie, pull yourself together" Eddie sighs as he looks at himself in the mirror. He begins to wonder if Buck actually likes him or if he just wants to be friends. He thinks about how Buck claimed he slept in the bed that time and not on the couch with Eddie. He thinks about all the times he's played with his hair or sorted it out. He thinks about them singing in the car together and how Buck is going to willingly looking after him. All these thoughts consume Eddie. He rushes out of the bathroom, slamming the door into the wall as his chest begins to tighten and he falls down to the floor. The team get up and Buck runs downstairs to see what was happening. Buck screams Eddies name as he runs towards him. He drops down to his knees and rests Eddie against him in an upright position. The rest of the team follow and asks him questions about his symptoms as Eddie doses in and out of consciousness. "He's just having a panic attack" Hen exclaims.
