21. streaming

"hey evan," alice smiled as he entered the cafe late, which was unusual.

"hi alice!" evan beamed, also unusually happy, "what have you been up to this weekend?"

"uhh just hanging out with tobi really, and you?"

"you won't believe it," evan paused, looking over at the girl whilst holding in a smile. she smiled back, "hit me."

"i got a partner."

the girl squealed and ran up to him, "it's been what, three years? tell me all about them!"

the love struck boy looked to the floor shyly before beginning, "well... they're super nice, they're funny, they're thoughtful.." he sighed
dreamily, "and their name is aaron."

alice let out a genuine smile as she felt happiness for her bestfriend, giving him a big bear hug, "they sound so nice, im glad you're happy."

"thank you alice, you're a really good friend." evan paused and looked to the ground, obviously thinking of something.

"enough talk about me, how the fuck are you and tobi? dating yet?"

alice scoffed, "no, we are not dating. but.."

evan rolled his eyes and tapped his foot impatiently, "but?!"

"we made out for like what, three hours last night?" her cheeks tinted light pink as she thought back to the moment.

her bestfriend stared at her wide eyed, unable to come out with any words.

"what?"

"girl you got him hooked. ask him out already. please."

"i don't know, i think id rather wait until he asked me.."

evan rolled his eyes in annoyance, "maybe he wants to wait for you to do it too, so then you'll never ask eachother out you dumb fuck,"

alice bit her lip and thought, "fine i might.. soon. shush."

"whatever. go eat your boyfriends face, bitch!" evan hurried, pushing alice out of the cafe.

"i could say the same to y-" she was cut off by evan closing the door in her face.

"it's my shift.." alice breathed out, before shaking her head and walking away.

alice stopped at the sidemen house door and rung the doorbell, waiting for someone to answer.

she and tobi had caught on to the habit of showing up at others houses at random times, and the other sidemen were getting used to it, and her showing up throughout the day.

the door opened to reveal a half naked harry, who smiled sheepishly at the girls presence, "hey alice, here for tobi?"

"morning harry," she smiled sweetly at the younger boy, "i am."

"he's just upstairs in his room."

she thanked him as she entered the house, taking her ugg boots off before walking up the stairs to tobis room.

alice knocked on tobis door twice with no answer, so she eventually opened it herself.
she saw tobi on his gaming chair with his headphones on, talking to the screen infront of him, but stopping when he realised the girl that had just entered his room.

he quickly clicked a button on his keyboard and took his headphones off, walking over to the girl with a smile, "i was streaming."

"ah," she laughed, now realising why he seemed so scared. "can they hear me?" her face dropped.

"no i muted it and turned the camera off." he placed a hand on her hip as he spoke.

she nodded, clenching her jaw at his touch. "do you want me to leave for a little while you finish?"

"no,no," he reassured, "ill just be a few minutes, you could just stay around there or go talk to the boys if you want?"

"ill stay here," alice smiled, sitting down on the edge of his bed.

he nodded, sitting back down in his chair and placing his headphones back on, biting his lip in concentration as he set the stream back up.

"sorry about that guys, jj needed me real quick."
