Soulmate's

A kiss is a kiss. A lip to lip match made by lovers, to depict love and affection.

But the kiss that just happened at the mansion of the owner of East Blue Hospital, was rather deadly.

A huge pandemonium was created, some happily accepting the fact that Law and Luffy were indeed soulmates. A perfect match.

The ones who freaked out were Luffy's close ones and his friends. The fact that Luffy's soulmate was someone as intimidating as Trafalgar Law was a little hard to digest.

Since clearly, Luffy and Law were nothing alike. Both physically and mentally.

Luffy was short, while Law was tall. Luffy would always be seen smiling, while Law was always seen frowning. Luffy loved talking and mingling with people, Law tried his best to stay away from crowds. Luffy was very carefree, while Law gave thought to even the simplest of matters.

No matter how much a person would try to figure out their similarities, they wouldn't. Because there aren't any similarities.

Why are they soulmates then? Well...it was a question only the creators of the universe could answer. Earth is their show after all.

Mr. Monkey D. Dragon, a loving father, and a man who is known to always remain calm and peaceful (unlike his son) listed all his pride and influence, and went on to bitch slap the shit out of Law.

Poor Law felt numb the entire time. His mind was pitch black. Same goes for Luffy. Perhaps this was the one and only similarity between the soulmates.

Dragon finally let go of Law, not that he cared anyways. Dragon took a few deep breaths, in an attempt to relax himself and then finally spoke.

"You. You think you are a VIP who can just randomly kiss my son and escape? No. That's it. You're fired. Now get out." Dragon declared. Law finally snapped back into reality. His eyes opened wide, not believing what Dragon had just said. All the people now stood in pin drop silence.

Law was embarrassed. But he was not the one to beg.

"What?!??! I didn't even kiss your son on purpose! It was all a mistake!" Law defended himself.

"I don't want to hear what you say! You ruined my son's innocence and reputation. I won't let you go that easily." The dragon smirked.

"Dad!!! Wait a second!!" Luffy, who had gained his consciousness back, stood against his dad

"Dad- Don't fire him. That's really unfair." Luffy requested his angry father.

"Oh why shouldn't I?? He ruined everything, Luffy. He dared to kiss you like that-'

"Oh please! The kiss was definitely not one sided. If Law kissed me, then I kissed him back too! It was definitely not his fault. It wasn't the fault of either of us."

Law, who had his head hung down, looked up to Luffy, without loathe or hate for the fact that he is the reason why he was defamed. He was happy that someone defended him.

"But Lu-"

"You still don't believe me do you? Don't worry, I'll prove it to you." Luffy said, which left Dragon and Law confused. Luffy walked closer towards Law, and looked right into his eyes. Law was drenched in sweat, since it was kind of hard to stay still within the radius of such a cute guy.

Luffy whispered an "I'm sorry" and then wrapped his hands around Law's neck and crashed his lips with Law's.

Law was taken by shock, but finally gave in, understanding what exactly Luffy was trying to do. But pulling away was not really an option given to him, because Luffy was an amazing kisser, it was hard to resist.

Luffy finally let go, and looked right back to his father.

"See? He didn't do it on purpose." Luffy snapped.

"Please, the both of you. Stop fighting. I'll head out now….I don't want to stay here for another second. If you wanna fire me, then go ahead, if not well…." Law announced, and left without a word. Shachi, Penguin, Jean and Ikkaku went along.

Luffy couldn't stand the embarrassment and ran to leave. Dragon sadly hung his head down.

It was the worst day for Luffy. He never looked forward to meeting his soulmate. But he just had to bump into him on the day everyone, literally everyone was there. It was so embarrassing.

But Luffy couldn't deny how amazing he felt when he kissed Law like that. He was undeniably hot.

-------

Dragon was stubborn. Very stubborn. Just like his son.

He loved Luffy more than anything else in this world. Once, when one of Luffy's bullies, Helmeppo punched him in the face, Dragon made sure that the guy was destroyed. He was a great father, but that would sometimes turn him into a terrible person.

Although he wouldn't admit it, he really felt bad for yelling at Law like that. Deep down, he knew Law didn't kiss Luffy on purpose. But his persistence prevented him from admitting so.

He too left the crowd. Nami, on seeing this, followed him.

"Mr. Dragon-" Nami called him out, but he slammed the door right on her face.

"Sir, you can shut me out whenever you wish to. But I do hope you remember the debt you have to pay me back." Nami spoke with a devil's grin. The aura darkened, and Dragon immediately opened the door.

"Please come in….ma'am" Dragon gave in. Nami smirked.

Nami entered the room, like she was the boss, or at least Dragon thought so. Dragon stood, not wanting to disrespect Nami in any way, and remind her of his debt to her.

"So, why do you have a problem with Law?" Nami asked Dragon with sass, which made him sweat.

"Because…..he-I-but-li-see- !!!!" Dragon screamed in frustration. Nami genuinely smiled at this.

"See! You yourself don't know why you dislike him. You're just bluffing yourself."

"How so?"

"I know that you love Luffy with all your heart, but that doesn't mean you tail around him for the rest of your life, or the rest of his life. He can take care of himself." Nami explained.

"See, all I'm trying to say is that you  really appreciated Law as an individual, but as soon as you got to know that he's Luffy's soulmate, you treat him like shit? That's unfair, isn't it?"

Dragon gulped and started analyzing what Nami was trying to say. He had to agree that she was right.

"And to be frank with you, Mr. Dragon, I feel that Law is perfect for Luffy. Sure, he's gloomy, but deep down, I know he's really soft. And that soft spot will definitely be Luffy."

Dragon chuckled. Now that recalled what had happened, he realized that Law was never mad at Luffy for almost getting him fired. Luffy, who would support his dad, almost every time, went against all odds, only to defend someone whom he literally knew nothing about.

Law was pretty talented and skilled too.

"You're right Nami. I was wrong." Dragon confessed.

"Glad to know you accepted." Nami said, and smiled.

"So….how do we bring them closer?  They definitely wouldn't have the guts to even look at each other, after what happened."

Nami smirked, not like her usual one. A really deadly smirk, which almost freaked out Dragon.

"Oh you don't have to worry about that, sir. I'll handle it."
