Annoying Friends

Lol sorry it's a bit late 💀🤷‍♀️

Law most definitely knew to expect it, but as he was sitting in the lounge area he jolted up slightly at the sound of his door being slammed open.

It was inevitable that his friends would come and bother him, especially after he hadn't answered their text messages. Of course, all his friends walked through his now opened door.

Law wasn't shocked at the fact that his friends walked through the door, but at who was with them. His father!? Law knew if he ever found a soulmate, his friends would be crazy about it, but his father would be even more overjoyed than anybody.

Corazon had been excited and waiting Law's whole life for him to meet his soulmate, and now that he had found him, Corazon would most definitely be very VERY interested.

As soon as everyone sat around his lounge room, they all started asking questions, leaving him no room to talk. Once everyone had finally gotten a bit quieter, he finally said, "One person should speak at a time, you're not a class of 4th graders".

(LOL NO DISRESPECT TO 4TH GRADERS)

"I volunteer", Ikakku says, with her hand raised in the air. "So, why didn't you answer any texts?" Everyone else nodded their heads, signaling that's what they all wanted to know. Corazon hadn't been asking questions like the others, but Law knew he would be the one to make Law answer the most questions.

Law figured he might as well tell the truth, there was no reason to lie (other than the embarrassment of it). Law explained what had happened the night before.

"So, nothing happened??" Shachi asked, and everyone else nodded their heads again. "No," Law said as he rolled his eyes. Corazon finally asked a question, "How are you liking Luffy?".

Law went silent after hearing that. He wasn't sure what to respond with. Law hadn't talked to Luffy much at the dinner they had last night. He realized he didn't know anything about Luffy.

After thinking carefully about his answer Law replied with, "He's quite loud but he's also funny, he's been nice to me and everyone else I've seen him interact with, he's overall a pretty nice person".

What Law didn't know was that Shachi was recording him and was most definitely gonna send this juicy video to Nami once they left Law's house. "I'd say, you've grown attached to your soulmate," Corazon says with a cheeky smile.

Even though Law didn't really know how to feel about the soulmates, so far he's been genuinely liking Luffy. No facade to keep up the soulmate act, no nice words to cover how much they didn't like each other. Just the straight truth about how much he likes Luffy so far.

"I guess so," Law felt a little shocked about how honest he was being when he was talking about Luffy. "So, when's the wedding?" Ikakku asks, feeling satisfied with Law's answer to Corazon's question.

Law rolled his eyes. "I haven't thought about that yet and you know it," Law replied. Penguin laughs and says, "He said yet!!". "You're totally right, Penguin, he did!" Shachi says, also in full laughter.

"Can I be the best man," Bepo asks, blushing slightly. Law thought for a moment. Law sighed, "If it ever happens, which I doubt, then Bepo would be my best man,". "Yay!!" Bepo does a victory high five with everyone.

"Why can't I be the best man??" Corazon asks. 

"Can we not start planning my wedding right now! If, IF it ever happens, you'll all be in the front row, da- Corazon, you'll probably sit next to Dragon, so you can't be too crazy at the wedding or he'll shout at you to be quiet," Law sighs.

"And we're not planning it right now! Me and Luffy only met a week ago!" Law says. 

"Yeah yeah," Ikkaku says as she rolls her eyes. "I wanna meet Luffy," Corazon says with the biggest grin on his face.

"You know I'd have to run that up with Dragon," Law sighs. 'That would be so annoying' Law thought. 

"You can do this for me," Corazon asks, smiling. 

"Fine, but only because I've already met Dragon so it only seems fair."

And so, they all continued to bother Law and ask him questions till he eventually got tired of them and yelled at them to leave. He was exhausted, even though he had just slept so much.

He wasn't sure what to do, he was sure that sleeping any more would make him even more tired. He opened his phone and was surprised to see a text from Luffy.

Law chuckles at seeing Luffy's message. He probably wouldn't admit it, but he also had a fun time with Luffy.

I think my father gets to choose next time, since Dragon did this time.

Law sighed, smiling at Luffy's ridiculous remark. He quickly frowned again, thinking about what he had to ask his father.

'This is going to be a lot of work' Law thought.
