How long it's been since he and his mate ascended the throne? Hours? A couple of days? Kongpob wondered. He knew they will be knee deep in issues that concerned the nation which need to be resolved soon. But he never expected to be drowning in them right after the coronation, that too in such a way that he felt suffocated.

Problems seem to appear one after the other but there was a ray of hope since they have some hints...a face to the perpetrator, which made him feel one step closer to the criminal. But for that he has to know who this Chanya is...He has an idea about who she could be since his grandmother identified the lady. Still he wants to hear it...their history from his grandmother herself.

Kongpob leaned back to the warm chest of his mate who had a protective arm wrapped around the omega's waist. Arthit rained his omega with occasional soft kisses on his head and cheek.

The library was huge with humongous collection of books neatly arranged in the shelves with ladders kept intermittently. The ceiling is vast with a dome shape in the middle adorned with a huge chandelier, casting a warm glow into the room, combined with the natural light seeping through the floor length glass walls.

"You didn't tell me you love books.", Arthit slowly massaged the omega's waist with his thumb in a circular motion.

"How did you know?", Kongpob bit his lips.

"The look on your face.", Arthit kept his eyes fixed on his mate's delectable rosy lips.

Kongpob quickly turned his face away as the last participants of the family meeting entered the library. He greeted Phana and Wayo, ignoring the deep chuckles from the man behind him.

They sat on the couch surrounding the central desk which is a little bigger than a coffee table. It was a family affair. The only people present were the ex sovereigns, the current rulers, Phana, Wayo, and Kannika.

Kongpob inhaled the deep scent of wood, polish, and leather as his eyes finally fixed over his grandma, urging her to start speaking.

Kannika gave him a soft smile before reciting The Legend of the Moon.

"The story began far in the past...", Kannika gave a once-over the listeners before continuing, "the moon goddess got bored in her abode and decided to wander the universe. After several celestial steps she and her maids arrived at this beautiful place which they named Earth.

She immediately fell in love with not only this beautiful place but also with its compassionate occupants. The goddess and her three maids stayed behind while the others returned to their abode.

Days became months which turned into years, and just like her maids, eventually she also fell in love with a certain human being, who loved and cherished her like the treasure she is. Later one spring evening, they were blessed with a gorgeous baby girl. Resembling her mother, her beauty and grace staying unparalleled.

The hamlet where they resided flourished with prosperity owing to the little family's presence. But good times didn't last long as they were subjected to the envy, greed, and resentment of those who couldn't have them. Little disputes started to bubble which in due course set in to total chaos.

The celestial lords who controlled the elements couldn't manage the situation without their goddess, and requested her to return to her abode so it won't push the universe into total anarchy.

The goddess and her maids were forced to return but unfortunately they wouldn't be able to take their offsprings or spouses with them since their temperament and mortality wouldn't allow it, they are too weak to survive the powerful aura of their celestial core.

In the end, she found a way, that could help their loved ones to protect and defend themselves. The goddess concocted a special potion and mixed it with a drop of her blood and gave it her people to drink. The people who drank the potion became the first warewolves.
