Chapter 2

you always wake up early, to cook or go on a run any excuse so no one suspects anything. You are sure to be extremely careful walking out of the room. You do shower and get ready in his room since he's the commander the has the best bathroom so he insisted You'd use his. 'You deserve the best of the best' he would say and how could you disagree..

"Y/n" he muttered getting up as you came out of the shower drying your hair off.
"Yes?" You spoke softly heading towards the door
"Good morning.." he gave you the sweetest smile you've ever seen. He was just perfect to you everything he did.
"Mm yes good morning. You should get ready I'm going to get going, I'll see you soon babe" you closed the door softly walking towards the kitchen

"Good morning y/n!" You heard someone call to you from behind, panic ran down you back. You turned around pretending to be fine.

"Good morning I was about to start on breakfast would you like anything?" You tired to distract the soldier with food motioning him to keep moving with you to the kitchen.
"Man I'm starving I could go for anything really. Actually maybe some scrambled eggs!" He said sitting down at the table

"Okay the eggs it is. I'm not sure we have them let me check-" you opened the fridge looking for the necessary ingredients. "You're in luck we have enough for everyone! Though I definitely need to go shopping for more groceries soon."

After making food for everyone graves finally entered the room looking only at you.
"Hello sir!" Almost every soldier in the room greeted him right as he walked in. He greeted them with a nod and went straight towards you looking for a plate
"Here you go." You finish making him a plate and pouring him some juice. "Thank you very much!"

"Now listen up Shadows we have a mission helping a task force 141 and the 'vaqueros'"

"When exactly are we do for this mission?" You asked sitting down to eat as well.

"With in the next 48hrs we should be making our way out to them."

"Alright sir." Everyone including you said in sync.
He finishes his food and puts the plate in the sink, giving you a quick glance then walking out the door. That was a "follow behind in a bit" signal. We were getting pretty good at this and it made you laugh because he's always so careful, while you were a bit more reckless when it came to meeting up and the whole relationship in general.
No one knew about this relationship not even your father and he was the last person you'd want finding out about this. Your father was a general and over his dead body he'd allow his right side man to date his 'precious' daughter. You found it ridiculous he cared who you date in the first place you were a grown adult who clearly proved she was responsible and capable of taking care of herself, you severing this county should be enough alone to add reason to that. You DEFINITELY could take up a boyfriend and quite frankly did. But you also desperately prayed he wouldn't find out anytime soon.

You make your way out the room heading to your usually meet up spot. You spot him he was on a phone call and looked pretty upset. Before you could even walk closer to get a better listen of the conversation he hung up in a rush.

"Is everything alright?" You ask sounding slightly worried.
"Yeah just some information on the mission and what not." He sighed putting his phone in his back pocket.

You knew he was lying but you didn't want to pry much into it if it was very important he'd tell you and sometimes it's better to keep things to ourselves, if it made him feel better let it be. "sweetie come here." You grab the collar of his shirt and kiss him.
"You really know how to cheer a guy up don't you" he said breaking the kiss then continuing to kiss you again.
"But I thought everything was "fine" was it not?" You say sarcastically, raising a brow at him. "But then I guess one will do right?"
"Oh no I'm so upset I could cry" he jokingly wiped fake tears from his eyes.
"I could cheer you up some more." You looked him in the eyes smirking.
"Stop giving me offers I can't refuse" he shook his head
"We both know that's not possible right now."

You roll your eyes pushing him back just a bit. "Fine fine. Later I guess."
"That sounds nice I won't deny it then. But I have to get going I have to be somewhere in less than an hour. I'll be back though." He kissed you one more time then got into his truck and left.

(I'm a little disappointed on this one feel like it wasn't that good but I'll come out with a better chapter soon!)
