Don't Look Down

You know when sometimes you get the feeling that someone is watching you, but then you look around and nobody's there, so you just forget about it and continue on with your day? When this happens, whatever you do, Don't look Down.

The shadow people lurk there. Some people say their demons, and others say their angels of revenge, but no one is sure, because those who look down, they are never heard from again. There are ancient text about the shadow people, nothing we can be too sure about though. They're incomplete at best, and attention seeking at worst.

People have risked their lives trying to save others, only taken in return. If you look down to save someone from being taken you invite your shadow beast back to claim you. Whatever it is, they are anything but human.

I believe the shadow people are neither angels nor demons in a way. They're the worst parts of ourselves. They are soulless creatures. The ones that feel no remorse but they share their shape with humans. That's why I have always said each person has their own shadow person equivalent. It's a beast that follows us all our lives. They wait for the perfect time to snatch us.

I think they are trying to escape something. Though I'm not sure what. Whatever, I guess I'll know soon, because I can't resist the urge. I can feel it's eyes on me. Her raged red eyes, I made a mistake, I looked---
