There is a reason why pantheons from different cultures do not meet. There is a reason why they were separated. It's because of possibility of their offspring  could end all if they ever left the balance they shared with the universe. The first time it occurred was when Athena met a smart and cunning man. The two talked for a while and end the end a child came about. They had both wished to leave and revealed themselves to one another. As the realization hit that both parents were from gods and from different myth. Both fought over  which pantheon she would truly be a part of. They agree neither after a morning of war. Loki had found a way to revoke her immortality and whatever power she could posses but it could only last for so long. 

The two left their daughter on the doorstep of an orphanage. She spent all 18 years there, fast tracking her way through to a doctorate degree. She spent the next three years living like a mortal. On the night of her 21st birthday she received a locket in the shape of a snake head. When she opened it, her powers were, immortality, and erased memories came rushing back. Though she could never join her parents on either side , she found her place still. She changed her name soon after to Athina Lokidottir. and she became the goddess of espionage in the Modern Americas. She continued on with her mortal life for as long as she could before finding others like her and creating the Pantheon of the Modern American Melting Pot.
