"She's an unstable individual. Proceed with caution."
The guard warned the incoming officer. The woman could only smile, not so long ago she was just a girl who wouldn't hurt a fly.

"I know. We have history." The incoming officer replied coldly. Though his eyes threatened to betray him. The guard nodded and took his leave.

"What happened to you?" He hissed as he analyzed the woman. It had been five years since he had seen her.

"I changed." She answered plainly.

"Why? You were so great. You were kind." He sighed.

"It's amazing. The woman you knew. You saw her beauty but not the iron underneath. But they did and they came for me and no one saved me."

"I knew just how strong you were. I guess sometimes I just forgot. You were so brave and quiet, I forgot that you were suffering."

She rolled her eyes. "I forget you were always quite the Wanna be poet." She spat.

"You were gone for so long. They said you were in break. Why didn't you come back?"

"I couldn't get away. I tried, I tried for years. But no one came. I gave up and gave in. It's not my fault." She murmured as she looked away when something seemed to click in her brain as she ran up and banged against the window. "It's your fault!" She screamed. "This is your doing!"

He looked taken aback. "How is this my fault?"

"I was locked in a war in my own head, and you never saved me. So more than ever I have been on my own. This is my war and I don't even know what side I'm on."
