When it's your birthday

I wrote this for my sister since it's her birthday today!

“Mama, wake up it’s my birthday!”

You gasped as you looked under the cover only to find a pillow

“Happy birthday baby!” 
You screamed as Mary picked you up from behind

Mary took you downstairs, you gasped as you saw the decorations

“It’s your birthday It’s your birthday, Who’s birthday? IT’S Y/N’S BIRTHDAY! *Beatboxing noises*”

“Sarah calm down” Winnie rolled her eyes at her sister’s enthusiasm

“Woah” You whispered as you saw the cake middle of the table

Mary placed you on a chair and took a place next to her sisters

“Make a wish sweetheart” Mary whispered

You shut your eyes and thought about a wish

‘I wish I could stay with my family forever’

You blew out the candles and everyone clapped

“Open your presents y/n!” Sarah was basically vibrating in place

You turned and saw four presents, one was red, one was purple, one was green, and the last one was brown

You tilted your head in confusion, Why was the last one brown?

You opened the red one first, You gasped as you saw a book, a recipe book

“It’s for when you want to learn how to cook when I'm not here” Mary explained

“Thank you, mama” You ran over to her and hugged her

You grabbed the purple one next, you opened it to see shiny objects like jewelry and rocks

“Oh, that’s from me! I know you like shiny things so I got those for you!” Sarah beamed

“Thank you, auntie Sarah, but where did you get these?”

Suddenly Sarah looked down at her feet and fidgeted with her hair

“I uhh”

“Nevermind Auntie Sarah” You didn’t want to know who she stole it from but you liked the gift anyways

You grabbed the green one next, it was pretty heavy, to be honest, Your eyes widened as you saw a spell book like Winifred’s but without the eye

“You seemed to like my Book so much so I thought you would want one of your own” Winifred mumbled

Winnie gasped as you hugged her

“THANK YOU, THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

Winifred didn’t know what to do so she awkwardly hugged you back

You let go of your aunt so you could open the last present

You opened it to reveal… A CAT!?

“That was Book’s idea,” Winifred said

“Woah, You look like a Binx, I’ll name you Binx”

The cat purred in response

“Thank you, all of you! This is the best birthday ever!” You hugged everyone
“Now who wants cake?” Mary asked

“Me!” You and Sarah said at the same time
