Chapter 33

Diya POV

I could feel the sun rays falling on me while I felt someone playing with my hair and running smooth circles on my back which is when I woke up.

Me: Dont wake me up husband, I am very sleepy

Vikram: I would love for us to just stay in bed but I have a job and you have college my dear

This woke me up from my daze and I ran around the room trying to get ready while Vikram looked at me amused

Vikram: For a person who wanted to stay in bed for the rest of the day, you look pretty funny running around the room, I can literally imagine smoke coming out of your ears

Me: DONT 

That made him chuckle like a bufoon and I glared at him

Me: I have a presentation today and my professor is a big pain in the a**

Vikram: Hey, I am a very understanding professor okay ?

Me: Is it ? So if I dont perform well would you still give me an A ?

Vikram: Umm No

Me: That's what I thought, now quit teasing me and let me freak out

In 10 mins I was ready while Vikram was getting ready. I packed both of our boxes and started having breakfast while he packed his as he had a free first hour. When we sat in the car, I was rehearsing my PPT in my mind while Vikram held my hand throughout the drive while playing the music in his head phones. He said he dint want to know the content right now as he wants to be surprised when I present.

After our first hour class, it was the time I present the PPT in front of my husband/professor. If it was my husband I would have ran in to his arms, gained some confidence and presented but as he was my Sir, I could not. When he came in he had a serious expression on his face like usual, when his eyes met mine they locked with mine for a second before he acted aloof, let him come near me in the night I will take care of him very nicely. (I imagined me beating the shit out of him and smiled)

Vikram: Ms. Diya as you are so excited to present why dont you go first ?

Me: Okay 

I inserted my pendrive which was when he cleared his throat

Vikram: Ms. Diya hope the pendrive is free of viruses, you dont know how many times my system crashed because of these sketchy pendrives

I glared at him for that and he escaped my shooting glare, after which I realized I was glaring and acted like something went into my eyes to cover up my secret warning to my husband.

I have presented the whole thing and at the end of it he just nodded and asked the next person to present, when he was done he actually said good at the end of it.

He dint compliment me, while he complimented that idiot who literally copied off the internet.

After the presentation our grades were announced online, he gave me a A but that dint rejoice me I was angry that he dint really compliment me on my hard work. This grade in private seems like I am not worthy of it. I would take a B if he would have just said my efforts were good.

That day, I dint ride with him, I wanted to give him the taste of his own medicine. I cooked his favorite food while I went off with Zyru for a spa afternoon without telling him. When I came back I was all serious and I dint smile at him all throughout the evening, even though he got me flowers and a card which said I am so proud of you my dear for that I said thankyou and left to the study.

I saw that Zyru was ignoring him just like me while Aunty was laughing at his plight. In the night after I put Zyru to sleep and finished brushing my teeth, he caught hold of me and wanted to talk.
