Diya POV
Though everything was clarified some girls in my class still gave me judgemental looks, the reason was that they cannot have Vikram to teach them anymore while I have the special advantage of seeing him at home.
In the night we were crawled up on our bed snuggling with each other with a comfy blanket because of the slight chill in the air that particular night.
Me: Vikram, arnt you going to miss working in this college, you have worked here since the beginning and you love it ....
Vikram: Not more than you Diya, look I like this work but it was killing me to be mean, rude or indifferent towards you. I hated that and you were getting hurt too, so, for our relationship this step would be the best.
Me: But, we cannot go together, where is this college any way ?
Vikram: I will still drop you and pick you up as it is on the way, its about a 20 mins drive, so we will still leave together or come together
Me: I never knew, otherwise I would not have ignored you that day, I am sorry
Vikram: Sometimes I find your anger cute so dont worry
He kissed me on my forehead and I snuggled into him for peaceful sleep
After a couple of days, the students started accepting us, we were hanging out together so when they see us together they accepted the fact that we are good for each other and slowly and gradually they started asking us questions.
We all went on a department trip and we were all playing Truth, Dare Situation, though everybody knows we were a couple we maintain some distance with each other when we were around people but today it was different, they started asking me on how is Vikram as a husband and what made me have feelings for him as our's was a arranged marraige. Later on they gave a dare to Vikram too asking him to express what are his feelings for me and he actually sang a song explaining what made him like me day by day. Time Skip (After a few days)
Every body in the college accepted the fact that we were a couple and on the last day of the term, Vikram threw a surprise party at our home inviting the department as a farewell to all of them and I was proud of how much people actually love him.
He announced that after the exams we wont be seeing him and if any student would like his guidance or support all of them can reach out to him whenever they want. That made the students happy. After his announcement all the girls he taught put up performances for him as a good bye and they all revealed thier crushes on him which made him blush.
It was so bad that I had to step in, and hold his hand warning them with my eyes so that they all budge away from him. During the exams time I got a lot of help from Vikram for my revisions, and let me tell you that when it comes to studies he is very strict and when it gets too bad, I tried to divert him but he just too motivated, and finally when I complained about how strict he was being, he promised me that once exams are done he will take an off before joining his new job so that we can both hang out together.
Once the exams were done we traveled to fulfil whatever was in our wishlist, Vikram wanted to visit a few places while I wanted to do couple of adventure rides like paragliding, para sailing, zorbing, bunjee jumping and scuba diving while he wanted to rent out a place near the beach and spend a lot of time with me, indoors. (Wink, Wink)
When we were back Zyru was angry at us again but we kind of spent some extra time with her to convince her with our extra love and banana treats. After about two weeks we both planned to go to a mall to buy clothes and decorations for Zyru's birthday this week. When Vikram went to buy decorative stuff, I bought Zyru's clothes, we divided the tasks among us because Zyru was waiting for us at home. This way we could get all the stuff and be out of here in no time.
When I finished with Zyru's clothes shopping after sending pictures to Vikram and taking his opinion, I came out of the shop but because of the slippery floor, I was about to fall on my back when a lady saved my fall by holding my hands.
She smiled and helped me pick up the bags I had with me, when I thanked her and was about to leave she called me by my name and asked how Zyra was doing. To say I was shocked was understatement, from her body language she looked like a sweet, beautiful and fashionable person, her features seemed familiar but I never met her in my life.
Me: Who are you ?
The Lady: Dont be so shocked, can we sit and talk ?
Me: But ..
The lady : Please ...
I called Vikram and asked him to meet me at the food court and sat down near the starbucks seating area with our order
Me: I dont know you, what did you want to talk about ?
The lady : I am Maya
Me: Hmm ?
Maya: You dont know me, but I do. I am Zyra's mother
And I dropped the tea cup I was holding, spilling its contents on the floor
Dramatic much ??
