"Why are you leaving all of sudden." I asked fidgeting with my fingers. The weather in New York that day was humid, almost as if the day itself knew, I would've left the cafe disappointed.
"It's not because I want to leave Judah, I have a lot going on back home but this doesn't mean what we have is over." His words stuck to me, because after breaking up with Khalil he was the only man that managed to match up to him in some ways.
Yes I was dating Alec at the time but things happened,
neither of them will ever be Khalil for me but for awhile Stefano was the one that filled that void.
"Are you going to come back?" As that question left my lips, tears welled up in my eyes, but I refused to look at him.
"Look at me Amore." he said, he was seated across from me looking at me with sincere eyes. I look up at him admiring his features that not only reminded me so much of Khalil, but features I've grown to love.
