It took around twenty minutes for Mr Weasley to return and when he did, he stepped in with a very severe looking woman. She had very short blonde hair and her eyes quickly scanned over Y/N and Hermione.

'This is the boy?' she asked.

'Yes. Y/N, Hermione, this is Amelia Bones. Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Amelia, this is Y/N L/N and Hermione Granger.'

'Pleasure to meet you both,' said Amelia professionally. 'Arthur tells me you ran into The Death Dominators?'

'The what?' asked Y/N blankly.

'You-Know-Who's elite guard,' said Mr Weasley. 'Dracius, Caroline and this new fellow.'

'Bit on the nose, isn't it? Death Eaters and Death Dominators? Like we get it, he doesn't like death,' said Y/N.

'I like his attitude,' said Amelia with a small laugh and she glanced towards Arthur. 'He'd do well in the Auror office. But yes. His Death Dominators, those he considered a cut above the rest.'

'There are more?' asked Hermione. 'More than those three?'

'Well, we didn't believe this Dainton Snow was, however previously there were five. Dracius Potley, Caroline Daughtery, Bellatrix Lestrange, Lucius Malfoy and Maria Vilian.' Y/N felt his stomach twist uncomfortably. 'Bellatrix is currently imprisoned in Azkaban. Lucius was cleared of all charges as he was under the effect of the Imperius curse-' Y/N heard the faintest hint of distain in Amelia's voice and his respect for her grew.

'-Maria betrayed You-Know-Who shortly before he fell and has been missing since. Caroline and Dracius went to ground once he fell. We never caught them. This is the first time they've been seen in thirteen years.'

'And now apparently they've been recruiting,' said Y/N.

'Exactly, which is cause for concern. I am here to get descriptions of who you saw.'

Y/N listed off everything he could remember about their encounter, even the illusionary tent and the chance of other witnesses.

'Knowing other people saw them too will help reaffirm your story,' said Amelia. 'Whilst I can hear the truth in your words, some may take some more convincing. I trust I can leave the rest up to you Arthur?' Mr Weasley nodded. 'Excellent, then I shall be on my way. I'll need to clean up the mess of their Minister comment. But a word of warning to you both. If you are as close as Arthur says you are, you both need to be prepared. They will attempt to use Miss Granger to get to you, Mr L/N.'

'If they mess with Hermione, they're in for a shock,' said Y/N. 'She's just as strong as I am.'

'That much is plain from the fact that you're even standing before me,' said Amelia warmly. She gave Mr Weasley a nod and swept from the tent. Mr Weasley pointed his wand at it and resealed it.

'I've written to Dumbledore and already had a response,' he began.

'That was quick,' said Y/N shocked.

'Fawkes. He is Dumbledore's emergency messenger. I had the response, and we have a way to flag him in an emergency. He says he will speak to you once you return to the castle about it. Apparently, he was intending to do so anyway.'

'Maybe that's the thing he's going to get Remus to help with,' said Y/N, feeling a rush. 'Maybe he's going to be bodyguarding me.'

'I'm not sure, Y/N,' said Hermione. 'You hardly need a bodyguard in the castle, but there is a good chance that Lupin's being asked something to do with this.'

'Well, either way, stay close to us as much as you can. Both of you. Amelia is right, if they're targeting Y/N, all they need to know is that you two are a couple and Hermione will become as big of a target.'
