The twenty one year old man looked up from The notebook he was writing in, brainstorming some ideas for a couple of songs for the new album, when he heard his name being called out, it sounded desperate.
Harry looked up, lighting his head as he came to terms with what was presented in front of him.
Niall came rushing into the room, River placed on his hip, as her soft cries filled the room, her brown hair matted against her cheeks, and her eyes red.
Harry didn't waste a second in running over to her, whenever she cried, Harry felt his heart break just that little bit more.
"What happened?"Harry quizzed his voice urgent .
When Harry was within range River didn't waste a second in reaching out for him, Harry taking her and hugging her close to his chest.
He pressed a kiss to her forehead, whilst looking up at niall. "— what happened? Why is she crying?"
"We were just chilling on the sofa in the other room and she rolled off it, she cried out for you instantly" Niall explained, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck.
Harry nodded. "— we're you being a silly girl and falling off the sofa?"
River nodded, pressing her head further into the crook of his neck, one of her hands playing with a strand of his long hair that had fallen out of the man bun. "It hurted"
"Well would you like some River and Daddy cuddles?"Harry mused, bouncing her on his hip slightly to try and calm her cries down. "— that would make you feel a lot better, I promise"
