Last Words

Stronger

Another update! I want all of y'all to please read the author's note at the end, okay? Thanks ^-^

She's stronger than she could ever think

So she believes it's all because of me

She can't see her beauty and her strength

So she gives all of the credit away

Because each day she paints a picture on her wrist in red

She lies awake at night with thoughts of death in her head

But she cries each time with every tally that she adds

And instead of counting sheep she counts the scars that she has

She's got bracelets on her wrists and long sleeves pulled down

She'll plaster on a fake smile if you notice her frown

She's tired as can be but she just hides a yawn

Her heart may be broken but she keeps marching on

She sits alone because she pushed away her friends

She didn't want them to get hurt when her life finally ends

She wishes someone would see the scars on her wrists

But then she gets scared so she moves on to her hips

Oh, can't you see that she's just perfect

But her mirror is twisted, so she'll never believe it

Cause she sees the world in a darker light

She finds her flaws and lists them every night

She shakes, she screams, she's scared, she cries

She's panicking but she's stuck in her mind

She would trade her soul just for her death wish to come true

But she has already traded it just to protect you

She's been through hell on earth and faced it with a smile

She's been saying she's fine lying to herself for quite a while

She's got bruises on her arms and bruises on her soul

Even bullied and beaten day and night she still refuses to let go

Oh oh, no don't let go

No never let go

Because honey, you're amazing, you simply astound me

I know you've went through some hard times, but I promise to never leave

I know it's hard to just let go, the pain seems to want to stay

But keep trying, I know that you can do it, you get stronger every day

So this poem is dedicated to @SuperTardisPotter. Because it is completely, only, about her. Her strength and spirit has really inspired me, and her skill with poetry is just WOAH! And I pretty much never advertise for anyone on here, so hopefully y'all see how good she must be. So yeah, PLEASE go check out her poetry collection? It's really really amazing. She deserves SO many votes and comments and reads, way more than she has so far, so yeah go read!!!
(Oh and I'm sorry if it's inaccurate ): I got my inspiration from your poems, which I absolutely loved, so, yeah)
