Chapter 6

Sameer and Arjun were in the conference room, discussing something. Just then, arjun mobile ring.

Arjun took out his phone from his pocket. A soft smile formed onto his lips when he saw the caller I'd.

He picked up the call and greeted the person. The person greeted back and briefed him about the situation. Hearing it, arjun said,

Arjun:"I am coming."he cut the call and stood up from his place.

Sameer:"Kya hua arjun everything ok?"

Arjun:'Han sab kuch theek hai office se call tha mere zarorat hain mujhe jana hoga'.

Sameer:'Theek hain baad mein milte hai.

Arjun buttoned his coat and left after saying by to Sameer.

IN ARMAN ENTERPRISES

The black SUV came to a smooth stop in front of a towering glass building, which carries the name of one of the biggest companies in the world.

Arjun stepped out of the car and made his way to the entrance. The receptionist greeted him in surprise as it was rare for him to visit. Normally, he handles the work remotely. She briefed him about whatever details he asked for.

After exchanging a few words with her, arjun gave her a slight nod.

"Thank you."

"My pleasure, sir."

Without another word, he turned and strode across the expansive lobby.

The employees noticed him, and suddenly, the atmosphere at the floor became quieter as some employees immediately return to their desk, some who were lazing, instinctively straightened their posture, while some other tries to pretend as if they were working diligently.

Some employees greeted Arjun nervously. Arjun gave them a nod and made his way to the private elevator reserve for the company's executive.

Arjun stepped onto the top floor of the company, which only had the CEO and Chairman office.

He made his way to his cabin. He pushed the door and noticed a young lady sitting on the reclining office chair leaning back. She was doing something in her ipad.

"You're 10 minutes late in total, Mr Arjun," She said sarcastically

Arjun rolled his eyes at her tone and asked, "If you're done with your remarks, would you like to enlight me about the reason to call me here so urgently?"

Sakshi scoffed and said, "You're no fun, Arjun. Pata nahi tum jaise boring insaan se pyar kaise kar liya meine."

Arjun shook his head at her. He made his way towards her. He gently grabbed her hand and tugged it. Making her stand abruptly and fell into his arms. She smiled and hugged him, keeping her head on his chest.

''I missed you, sakshi." He said, tucking the strand of her hair behind her ear.

"I missed you too, Arjun. Aur chalo yeh baat sunke mujhe kushi hui ke nawab ko mere yaad toh aaye warna mujhe toh laga tha sirf naam ki fiance hun tumhare" She said teasingly. Arjun smiled at her taunt and gently kissed her forehead, bringing a genuine smile on her face.

They both got settled on the couch. "Sab kaisa hain ghar mein Sakshi?" he asked.

"Bohut ache aur wo tumhe miss bhi kar rahe hain."Arjun nodded as it's been a long time since he met them.

Arjun:''Achcha yeh sab to theek hai lekin yeh batao ki tumne mujhe Itna urgently Kyun bulaya?"

Sakshi gave him a look and said,"bhool gaye tumhari Aaj boards ke sath meeting hai."

Arjun nodded his head as he completely forgot about the meeting. "Meeting ke bare mein to main Bhul hi gaya tha Achcha Hua tumne mujhe Yad Dila Diya Sakshi

Sakshi:"Koi baat nahi arjun waise bhi mere bina tumhara hoga hih kiya?". Arjun just smiled at her. Then they both got busy in the work.
